Rock Climbing in Kathmandu is becoming very popular sports to do for tourists as well as locals due to the awesome natural rock faces in majestic settings. It is also a challenging sport for outdoor lovers. For rock climbing, most of the areas are situated towards the north of Kathmandu and several places nearby Pokhara and in Everest region, Nagarjun Balaju, Hattiban, Nagarjun, Chomorong and Khumbu Rock climbing. Also, if you wish, a trip to these places can be combined with trekking, bird watching, nature tours and other activities.

Rock climbing is generally distinguished by its need for the use of the rock climber’s hands to grip his or her own weight in order to make a balance. Hattiban is an hour drive from Thamel and is located in the southern parts of Kathmandu valley. It is a top-grade climbing site fit for skilled and professional climbers only.

Bimal Nagar Site
A five-hour bus drive will take you to this site which is located on the Kathmandu-Pokhara route. Besides with the climbing experience, this tour also offers its participants magnificent views of Mt. Manaslu and the Marsyandi River.
