Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer to Srinagar Hotel.

  Upon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam Int’l Airport. Transfer to House Boat or Hotel for Check in. In the evening you take a shikara ride on world famous Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc.

• Day 2 : Srinagar Sightseeing / Leisure

  We start our Sightseeing tour by visit of Shankaracharya Temple. And later proceed further to Hazratbal Mosque; Situated in a village on the western shores of the Dal Lake opposite Nishat Bagh. Unlike the other mosques in Srinagar, which have a pagoda like roof, Hazratbal is the only mosque to have a domed roof mosque in Srinagar; the others having distinct pagoda like roofs Gardens &Jamia Masjid, situated in the heart of the old city of Srinagar. In the afternoon, we take a visit to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa & Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Pahalgam

  After a leisurely breakfast, leave for “Pahalgam”. En-route visit saffron Fields & 19th Century Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in to the pre-arranged Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, Enjoy nature & walk around the bank of river Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. One can go to Aru (10 km from Pahalgam) which is a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier & Trsar Lake) Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari.

• Day 4 : Pahalgam - Gulmarg

  Gulmarg is at an altitude of 8700 – ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter. On Arrival in Gulmarg, One Can go for the Gondola Ride up to 1st or 2nd Phase. It is one of the highest cable cars in the world, reaching 3,979 metres. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from the gondola main station in Gulmarg to a shoulder of nearby Affarwat Summit (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). There are also countless off-piste possibilities through the beautiful Khilanmarg meadows on the foot of Mount Affarwat, which offer a scenic view of Nanga Parbat. The Affarwat ridge at 3850+ metres offers an avalanche controlled ski area that offers a wide field of snow to descend 800 m in approximately 3 km of skiing.

• 1. If flights get cancelled due to weather, there will be no refund of hotel/transfer money,
• only dates can be shifted that too at least 3 hours before the check in time, depending
• on the category and policy of the hotels.
• 2. Gondola Tickets are not booked by us at JM Tours & Travels.
• 3. If travelling in peak winters, some sightseeings can not be covered due to heavy snowfall
• depending on the weather of that particular day.
• 4. If 2-3 PAX are travelling, The vehicle provided can be a hatchback/sedan (4 seater)
• depending on the availability at that time.
• 5. If 4 PAX are travelling and are booking a 4 seater car, no more than 2 Bags can be
• accommodated in a hatchback, our recommendation is to book Tavera/Innova
• 6. Pony Charges in any of the 4 destinations are not included in the package.
• 7. Snow Jeeps might be required in heavy snowfall in
• Srinagar/Gulmarg/Pahalgam/Sonmarg which can be hired on the spot and paid there
• and then.
• 8. Shikara ride is offered for 1 hour only on Dal lake, it does not include stops, sightseeings
• etc on the Shikara
