Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kochi

  Welcome to Kochi by our Namaste India trip tour guide who escorts you to your hotel room where you freshen up. Then, you set out to explore Kochi starting with the Fort followed by the Bolgatty Palace, a trip to the seashore to see how fishermen still use the Chinese style fishing nets, to Matancherry Palace and the Jewish Synagogue. You will also visit Marine Drive and the Pareekshith Thampuran Museum during the day.

• Day 2 : Kochi to Munnar

  Have a cosy Kerala breakfast together and get ready for the 150 km drive to Munnar, the loveliest hill resort of Kerala. The drive takes you across splendidly breathtaking scenery made up of water bodies, water falls, lush green rice fields and a rolling countryside that exudes the warmth of nature and its people. Arrive at Munnar, the queen of Kerala hill resorts, and check into your hotel. From your room you can see miles of undulating slopes covered by tea plantations. Freshen up and set out to explore the winding lanes of Munnar in the evening. Munnar is at the confluence of three rivers and has colonial overtones as you will find.
• Day 3 : Munnar excursions

  Enjoy local steaming hot breakfast and thus fortified set out to explore the beauties of Munnar. During the course of the day you will visit the Eravikulam National Park, Rajamalai National Park, Kundala Lake, Echo Point and Matupetty Dam. Starting at Matupetty you enjoy a morning boat ride that puts you in a nice, romantic mood for the rest of the day. A walk through Eravikulam gives you glimpses of the Nilgiri Thar, an endangered species of goat along with a view of orchids, birds and other fauna. In the afternoon we stop at a tea plantation, watch workers picking leaves that are then processed. Sample tea and buy a pack to remember Munnar. Return to your room and if you are in the mood, visit Chinnakanal waterfalls, a lovely spot or go to Top Station.
• Day 4 : Munnar Thekkady

  Rise early, breakfast on hot Kerala delicacies and board the coach for the 120 km drive to Thekkady and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you check into your hotel, freshen up and set off for Periyar where you go boating on the Lake , one of the best ways to view the innumerable birds, elephants, tigers, leopards and amphibian life. The view is wonderful and acts as a catalyst for romance. This boat trip done we take you to neighboring spice plantations where you can buy choicest spices to take back home.
• Day 5 : Thekkady Athirappilly

  Bite into delicious steaming hot Kerala style breakfast and get ready to travel to Athirappilly, one of the most charming waterfalls in Kerala and a popular picnic spot. The falls are about 80 feet high, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Just sit, watch the water cascade and let love bloom inside you. You might want to splash about in the gurgling waters and walk the trails. Later, you return to Athirappilly where you enjoy a lovely night in a picturesque resort.
