The trek to Roopkund is fulll of grandiose landscapes, and diverse flora and fauna. It is located in the Chamoli District of Uttrakhand at a breathtaking height of 16 470 feet (5020m) above sea level. Its second name "Mysterious Lake" is given by the presence of human skeleton around it. This trek changes with every season and is beautiful all year long.
You will have the chance to walk through beautiful meadows and you will get an impressive view of the Himalyan mountains of Trishul and Nanda Ghunti.
