Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Delhi :

  Our representatives will receive you on arrival at the airport / Railway station in Delhi and assist you for check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Check inn at hotel . After freshen up transfer for local sight seeing which includes photo stops at the India Gate and magnificent Rashtrapati Bhavan [formerly known as the Viceroys house]. Later, we proceed for Humayun Tomb. Humayun was the second Mughal emperor and father of Akbar the Great. This magnificent tomb has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. Then we proceed to proceed to Lotus temple or the Bahai house of worship. Its universal design in the form of a lotus has been a major attraction for the people. The calm and serene interior of this shrine provides an environment for meditation. This temple is a symbol of peace, love purity and immortality. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Delhi – Mathura – Vrindavan - Agra (231 kms/ 5 hrs):

  After breakfast start your journey for Agra, en route visit Mathura The origin of Mathura is ancient. It is said to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna, the popular incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and then proceed to Vrindavan  which is also a small place lying adjacent to Mathura. It is the place where Lord Krishna spent his youth playing with Gopis and Sakhas. It is the place once known for the fragrant groves. Reach Agra, check in the hotel overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 3 : Agra

  After breakfast start for Taj Mahal. Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder of Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan. The Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Also visit Agra fort where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son. Shah Jahan passed his last tragic days staring at the Taj Mahal. Then visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb which is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "BabyTāj", the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Tāj Mahal..Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Agra – Fathepur Sikri - Jaipur (240 kms/ 5 ½ hrs):

  After breakfast proceed to Jaipur, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri . Fatehpur Sikri is a city and a municipal board in Agra district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The city was founded in 1569 by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. Then proceed to the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world, Buland Darwaza, or the "Gate of Magnificence", was built in 1576 A.D. by Akbar to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. It is the main entrance to the palace at Fatehpur Sikri, a town which is 43 km from Agra. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

• Day 5 : Jaipur

  In the morning an excursion to Amber Fort after breakfast. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Visit the various palaces within the fort premises. The City Palace houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. The largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II is in Jaipur. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. Evening is free for leisure.

• Day 6 : Jaipur – Ajmer / Pushkar (135 Kms / 21/2 hrs):

  After breakfast proceed to visit Ajmer, Dargah of Sufi Saint Salim Chishti, it is old saying that people who visit Ajmer Sharif and pray with pure faith and loyalty at his Dargah will  free their soul. Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti is also known by different names as, Khawaja Gharib Nawaz, “Sultan-Ul-Hind”, Khwaja Baba, Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Ajmeri, Khwaja Sahib, Khwaja Saheb, Khwaja Ajmeri Saint Moinuddin Chishty. The Dargah Khawaja Gharibnawaz ( R.A) has several tombs, buildings, Daalaans and courtyards are of  Mughal architecture. and Pushkar famous for its Holy Lake & the only Brahma Temple in the World. It is a town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated 14 km northwest of Ajmer at an average elevation of 510 m and is one of the five sacred dhams for devout Hindus. Return Jaipur for Overnight Stay.

• Day 7 : Jaipur – Delhi (262 kms / 05 hrs):

  After breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Delhi. En route visit Hawa Mahal which is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trellis work and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Reach Delhi, Check in the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 8 : Delhi – Amritsar (Train Journey.)

  After breakfast transfer to Amritsar by shatabdi Express. Arrive at Amritsar Railway station meet n greet by our representative, transfer to hotel. After Freshen up and lunch proceed for sightseeing of “Golden Temple”. Golden Temple in Amritsar known as Swran Mandir also. The Golden Temple in Amritsar, India is the most sacred place of the Sikh Religion and where Guru Nanak lived and meditated later Visit Jallianwala Bagh - which is just the walking distance from the Golden Temple. Jalianwala has a special importance attached to it with respect to India's freedom struggle On April 13, 1919 on the auspicious day of Baisakhi hundreds of men, women and children sacrificed their lives in front of ruthless firing of the British forces, return to hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 9 : Amritsar

  After breakfast day free for leisure at your own, later proceed to visit Wagah Border which is famous for its 'Retreat' ceremony at the time of sunset. During evening armed soldiers, both Indian as well as Pakistani, fully decked in their uniform enacts a particularly hostile parade marked by lowering of their respective flags and closing the border gates. The changing of the guards and the ceremonial lowering of the flags is carried out with great pomp and fervor, return hotel for overnight stay.
