Day 1 : Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and explore the city during first 2 days of this royal Rajasthan tour package. New Delhi is popular as Lutyen’s Delhi and is characterized with high rise modern buildings as well as large green avenues. On the contrary, Old Delhi is known for its Mughal heritage featured by narrow streets and bustling markets.
The topmost attractions housed here include - India Gate, Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and the Jama Masjid.
Day 2 : Delhi

Day 3 : Delhi - Agra
The next destination in this circuit is Agra, located at a distance of about 200 km from the national capital. Home to the impressive Taj Mahal, Agra is also popular for its inlay products and its ‘Pethas’.
Day 4 : Agra - Jaipur
From Agra, travel down to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Located at a distance of 200 km from here, Jaipur is most visited for its stately monuments, its lip smacking local delicacies, and its colorful markets. However, before you reach here, you will also stop over at Fatehpur Sikri and visit its top attractions like the Buland Darwaza, the Jama Masjid, and the Palace of Jodha Bai.
Day 5 : Jaipur
Early morning on the 5th day, embark on an excursion to the Amer Fort, located at a distance of about 15 km from the Jaipur city. The beauty of the fort is unbelievable, especially in the early morning light.
After you return from Amer, you can then visit the city attractions including the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar, and the colorful markets that are housed here.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Samode
One of the best excursion options that you can undertake while on trips to Jaipur is a trip to Samode. Belonging to the Rawals, a noble family of the region, the Samode Palace is worth a visit and especially for guests on trips across the Royal Palaces of Rajasthan.
Day 7 : Samode - Mandawa
From Samode, you will head towards another very colorful and vibrant city in Rajasthan, Mandawa. Located in the heart of the Shekhwati region, Mandawa is best visited be guests for its painted havelis. Belonging to the rich merchants of the area, the Shekhawati havelis are great expressions of Indian art and culture.
Day 8 : Mandawa - Khimsar
Khimsar is one of the popular destinations in Rajasthan that boasts of ancient heritage and culture. This place is about 200 km from Mandawa and therefore it will take you about 5 hours to reach here. While here, visit the Khimsar Fort and also enjoy the desert safaris that will take you across the sand dunes of the region.
Day 9 : Khimsar - Jaisalmer
One of the most significant places in India when it comes to the royal palaces in India is Jaisalmer. So, after Khimsar, the next destination that you will head towards is Jaisalmer, also known as the ‘Golden city of India’. Jaisalmer is also known as the gateway to the Thar, therefore be ready to explore the sands of the desert like never before.
Day 10 : Jaisalmer
Post-breakfast embark on the sightseeing tours across Jaisalmer city. The first destination that you will visit is the Jaisalmer Fort. Built around 1156 in yellow sandstone, this fort gives the city an identity with its extraordinary features like the gateways, the merchant havelis, and the Raj Mahal. This fort is one of the largest forts in India and the only living fort where about a third of the city’s total population live within its fortified walls. On this day, you will also visit the grand mansions of the city including the Patwon ki Haveli and the Salim Singh ki Haveli etc. Camel ride in the evening to the sand dunes located in the vicinity of the fort will complete your day by a full circle.
Day 11 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
The next destination in this circuit is Jodhpur. So, from Jaisalmer, you will proceed towards this destination that is located about 300 km away. On reaching Jodhpur, you can visit the tourist attraction Umaid Bhawan Palace. A medieval palace, the Umaid Bhawan has today been converted into a heritage hotel that caters to the guests coming here from all over the world.
Day 12 : Jodhpur
Explore the stateliness of the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, on the twelfth day of your Royal Palaces of Rajasthan tour. Standing at 400 ft, the fort also houses a museum that is one of its kinds in the entire country. Soldiers were stationed in all the 7 gates of the fort to guard the fort against enemies and external aggression.
You can also visit the Jaswant Thada and the Osiyan temple.
Day 13 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
On the 13th day, you will proceed towards Udaipur, the capital of the Mewar province. Udaipur is located at a distance of about 300 km and therefore will take you about 6 - 7 hours to arrive here. To break the monotony of the long travel, you could stop over at Ranakpur to visit its temples, exotic and very revered by tourists and devotees.
On arrival in Udaipur, you could immediately check into the hotel and unwind yourself before you start off with your sightseeing schedule. The colorful markets, the historically important monuments, and the vibrant cultural heritage of this place, all will amaze you, the moment you foot here. The City Palace complex and the local markets are places worth visiting on the 1st day of your trip here.
Day 14 : Udaipur
Visit the remaining attractions of Udaipur, the city of lakes on the last day of sightseeing across this place. Visit the ‘Saheliyon-ki-Bari’, an enchanting garden with arched pavilions. Built by the king as a gift to the queen, the garden is nestled on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake that add constant beauty to it. This place was built as a place where the maids of the queen could meet and interact.
Next you could visit the Jagdish temple as well as the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir. What else? You could also enjoy a boat ride at the Lake Pichola!
Day 15 : Udaipur - Delhi
Day 15 is the last day of the Royal Palaces of Rajasthan tours. Therefore, you will travel back from Udaipur to Delhi, to embark on your onward trip, back home.
