Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

• Day 2 : Old and New Delhi

  A full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. Included in Old Delhi are its markets and mosques, the Red Fort and Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. While in New Delhi, you will visit Humayun's Tomb, the predecessor of the Taj Mahal, the 12th Century Qutub Minar, the Parliament House and India Gate.

• Day 3 : Mandawa

  After breakfast, depart by surface transport for Mandawa, a small and busy market town that came into being in the 18th Century, and was subsequently fortified by merchant families. Today, it has some of the finest painted havelis (traditional mansions) in the region.

• Day 4 : Drive to Bikaner

  Drive to Bikaner and check in at your hotel. Once a busy trade centre, Bikaner was frequented by the legendary caravans that strung out across the desert to West Asia and Africa. The afternoon half-day tour will take you around this fortified city perched above the rocky desert from where you will see camels and temples, and witness a rich mixture of local music, dance, art and wildlife. Also worth a visit are Junagarh Fort and the Camel Breeding Farm.

• Day 5 : Drive to Jaisalmer

  Drive to Jaisalmer after breakfast, where the 'Golden City' awaits you with its desert fortress whose stone ramparts glint like gold by the setting sun. A city that is unrivalled in its magic, romance and exotic beauty.
