Royal Siklish trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the Annapurna region. It was named as royal trek after Prince Charles of Britain trekked this region up to the Gurung settlement with an associates of 90 guest, backup followers and staff in 1980 s. This is an easy, short and less travelled region trek that offers good mountain views, ridge walking, forests, rice fields and different cast villages.
This trek starts from alpine Begnas Lake at Pokhara itself heading towards the Modi Khola passing by Kalikastan and penetrating through south of Annapurna II, and Lamjung Himal which will take us up to Siklish (1,980m.) which is the biggest Gurung village or Gurung settlement. During summer the flood in river may create difficulty in crossing it. The trail passes through the pristine rhododendron and oak forest, rich flora and fauna of the region, beautiful Gurung village taking us to Chisapani. Chisapani is one of the best Himalaya view point which offers the most spectacular whole range of the Himalayan massif ranging from Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna including Annapurna South (7273m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Hiunchuli (6336m.), Lamjung Himal (6986m.) and Machhapuchhare (6999m).

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1320m)
Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.)
We take early drive/flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.). One can view green hills, beautiful valleys and some mountain views on the way. Pokhara is regarded as tourists’ paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples, etc. One can observe views of Phewa Taal (lake), Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Day 3 : Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola, Kalikasthan (1370m.)
After having lunch in the hotel, we drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola (Bijayapur Army Camp)-Kalikasthan (1370m.). The trail takes all the way through rice fields near the Army Camp, and then ascends through Rakhigaon up to Chautara. One can enjoy the majestic views of Himalayas. We finally reach Kalikasthan at (1370m.) which offers panoramic view of mountains, Begnas Tal and Pokhara city.
Day 4 : Kalikasthan to Lama Khet (1680m.)
We continue our trek from Kalikasthan to LamaKhet (1680m.). Following gentle path, passing through local villages of mixed ethnic groups, golden rice terraces up to Mardi Khola, we proceed towards Lama Khet - is a small village where we stay overnight.
Day 5 : Lama Khet to Siklis (1980m.)
We Trek from Lama Khet to Siklis (1980m.).The trail stretches flat along the river bank until you reach Khilan Gaon and passing through Parju village the trail again climbs up to Siklis village, the oldest and the biggest Gurung settlement.
Day 6 : Siklis to Neuli Kharka (2200m.)
Now we trek from Siklis to Neuli Kharka or Forest camp (2200m.). While trekking we penetrate rhododendron and oak forests following gentle ascent path. We spend Overnight at Neuli Kharka.
Day 7 : Neuli Kharka to Ghale Gaon (2000m.)
We trek from Forest Camp to Ghale Gaon (2000m.). While trekking we trek through forests covered with rhododendron blooming from pink to red and cross the highest pass of this trek. After crossing the pass, we descend steeply to reach Ghale Gaon, a small village which is inhabited by Gurung and Magars community.
Day 8 : Ghale Gaon to Pokhara
finally we trek back from Ghale Gaon to Pokhara. The trekking trail gently descends up to Hyamgja (1070m.). We board our vehicle at Hyamgja and drive to Pokhara. We spend Overnight in hotel.
Day 9 : Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus. After a normal drive of seven hours, we reach Kathmandu. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, we head up via Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable Car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. One can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 10 : Final Departure to Home.
