Is the Royal Trek Difficult?

Royal Trek is an easy level trek, suitable for anyone. Either you’re inexperience or professional, this trek is appropriate. Anyone with an average fitness can complete this trek. As this is a lengthy trek we want your physical and mental health to be at its best. Our advice is to do regular exercises and preparations before the trek. We recommend stamina building exercises like running and swimming. This allows your body to adapt and sustain the energy level keeping your health in check. Our professional guides will guide the trek with utmost caution and safety. You will trek in a slow and steady pace and taking lots of breaks. The key is to trek slow, acclimatize and drink plenty of liquids during the trek.

Best Time to Do Trek

The best trekking experience depends on the time of the year. Royal Trek can be done in all seasons with professional guides. But spring season (March to May in Nepal) and autumn seasons (September to November in Nepal) are of course the best seasons for the trek. In spring, the moderate and dry climate makes trekking comfortable. The flourishing bio diversity makes the trails vibrant and beautiful. Autumn season provides better mountain views, less humidity and less perspiration. The clear blue skies bring about crisp views of the mountains. But the Himalayas won’t disappoint in any season. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

  Upon landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Here you will meet your guide who will brief you about the trek ahead.

• Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara - 7 hrs

  Today a 7hours drive from Kathmandu all along the Prithvi highway takes us to the serene city of Pokhara. Here we visit the Davis fall and Phewa Lake. After spending quality time and beholding awe-inspiring glimpses we return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel

• Day 3 : Pokhara to Kalikasthan - 5 hrs Trek

  Taking an instant breakfast, we board a bus scheduled for Bijaypur. Following the trekking trail, we pass through the paddy fields and cross a small river making a descent to Kalikasthan. We acclimatize here and take some time to explore the surroundings. Overnight at a lodge

• Day 4 : Trek from Kalikasthan to Syaklung - 6 hrs Trek

  We take the route that passes through idyllic small villages. As we move on crossing the ridge; we are greeted by splendid views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna Mountains. This is a splendid place inhibited by the ethnic locals busy in their daily chores that they know. Wherever you tread or take a look the beauty of rhododendron forest will cast an enchanting spell of delight. Later in the night we rest in the lodge.

• Day 5 : Trek from Syaklung to Chisapani 6 hrs Trek

  Leaving Syaklung behind we take the route that takes us towards Chisopani. We pass through ethnic Gurung village and their best kept secrets. A steady walk ahead takes us to the alpine pine forest and an exciting rhododendron trees. It is a mixed trekking trail of variant descends and ascends until we reach Chisopani. From here the views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurana range are spellbinding. Overnight at a lodge

• Day 6 : Trek to Begnas Lake

  Today is the final day of your royal trek out into the wild. After taking a quick breakfast we set out on a downhill trail that reaches us to the Rupa Lake. Next pass through the trail the scenic mountain bounties until we reach the Begnas Lake. A boating in this fabulous lake is a rewarding encounter with the beautiful forested background. This is one of the most popular freshwater lakes. After marveling at this enchanting scenic beauty of water and nature we return back to your hotel. in Overnight at hotel inclusive breakfast.

• Day 7 : Drive back to Kathmandu

  The morning starts early with a hearty breakfast, as we leave Pokhara for Kathmandu. A 7 hours long scenic drive along the Trishuli River reaches us to Kathmandu. Upon reaching here we transfer to our hotel for rest and relaxation. In the evening a farewell dinner is hosted in our honor.

  The 8th day of our Royal Trekking marks the end of our outstanding trek in Nepal. The airport representative will drop you to the International airport safely. You will fly back home with the memories of this wonderful trek in your minds forever.
