Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jaisalmer

  Visit of the Fort and the splendid Jain temples, walk in bazaars, departure for excursion: meeting with rural communities living in desert, night in the dunes.

  • Hotspots : Jain Temples

• Day 2 : Jaisalmer

  Early morning, watching water fetching and participation to life in desert, then back to the city for a walk nearby the lake, and the visit of a musician slum.

• Day 3 : Jodhpur

  Visit of the Mehrangarh Fort, meeting with one NGO working around access to safe drinking water in the Thar desert and acting at global level for better water policies, excursion to one of their working places.

  • Hotspots : Mehrangarh Fort

• Day 4 : Jodhpur

  Walk in the bazaars, discovery of Jodhpur craft, visit of a Bishnoi village with their traditions and culture.

• Day 5 : Shekhawati

  Visit of Khandela, a village hosting a variety of crafts, excursion to Lohagarh, an ancient religious place, arrival to Khirod to spend the night with a family and share their life.

• Day 6 : Shekhawati

  Visit of Nawalgarh, a famous village with magnificent frescos, discovery of the main palace.
