This tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas includes visits to the remarkable Inca sites of Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, with plenty of time to enjoy and photograph the spectacular scenery of the valley and surrounding peaks. You will be escorted by your knowledgeable guide as you walk the narrow streets of the Inca village of Ollantaytambo and wander through the handcraft market in the village square at Pisaq.Itinerary.Cusco Entrance Ticket ($45 approximately): This ticket provides access to most of the attractions in the city of Cusco and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and can be purchased at any of those attractions.
A half price ticket is available for access to Ollantaytambo and Pisaq only.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Leaving behind the city of Cusco, our bus will take us to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing Sacsayhuaman and Tambomachay along the way. After crossing the high plains, the road descends towards the valley town of Pisaq, on the banks of the Urubamba River, considered sacred by the Incas. After plenty of time to wander through the market and pick up some souvenirs, we will drive up to the Inca ruins of Pisaq. Here the Incas built an extensive settlement composed of temples, residential areas, a tunnel and agricultural terracing, all with a commanding view over the entire Urubamba Valley, stretched out far below. After visiting the ruins of Pisaq we will drive to the town of Urubamba for lunch. After an excellent meal in Urubamba, it will be time to make the 30 minute drive to the village of Ollantaytambo. Here, where the valley narrows, the Incas created an important ceremonial and administrative center around a temple that was dedicated to the pantheon of Inca gods. It is common to see local people wandering the streets of Ollantaytambo in their typical dress, largely unchanged for more than four hundred years. After visiting the village and temple of Ollantaytambo, we will return to Cusco.
