Highlights:
We have to cross Parvar protected area.
We arrive at the unique spring of Badab-E- Surt After thousands of years combination of salty water and iron oxide water from two springs creates the unique scene of natural pool balconies in nice orange colour at the elevation of 1840M.
We will pass through the dry water lines and dirt roads to arrive at small desert microclimate with lots of natural colours and shapes on the ground.
We will get into the area where Turkmen lives with their famous horses
There is a high chance of seeing wildlife.
We will visit the Shrine of Khaled Nabi which Turkmen believe him as a pre-Islamic prophet.
We will visit the Shrine of Bayazid Bastami which was a Persian Sufi known as “King of the Gnostics”

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Tehran - Hyracanian Jungles

We kindly congratulate you upon your delicate choice! Right on your arrival, we will pick you up at Tehran International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Prior to anything, you will be given the itinerary of the tour in a Welcome Meeting at 9:00 AM after your check-in. In case of unavailability of a flight that arrives on time, you may wish to arrive a day earlier so you can follow the plan. We will be happy to announce that one of our many services is to book an additional accommodation for you (subject to availability).

Starting from Tehran, we heading to East direction. This road which is known by Firuz Kuh road takes us to the famous bridges of Veresk which build in World War II by Austrian engineer. It is 110 meters high and open since 1937 for trains. We will continue our route to cross the mountains through our sneaky routes and dirt roads to get on the highest balcony at 3000 meters in elevation. When you stand on this 45KM ridge, you will realize how it keeps the clouds and jungles on one side and the desert on the other side. After lunch, we have to cross Parvar protected area before we arrive at unique spring of Badab-e Surt. After thousands of years combination of salty water and iron oxide water from two springs creates the unique scene of natural pool balconies in nice orange color at the elevation of 1840M. After visiting this natural national heritage, we will set up our camp on the side of the forest in this area and prepare our dinner (local house accommodation is also possible upon request).

Day 2 : Hyracanian Jungles

After breakfast and last walk on the grassland around the spring, we will continue through the dry water lines and dirt roads to arrive at small desert microclimate with lots of natural colors and shapes on the ground. Then again by crossing one neck to the north direction, we will see how the climates change so quickly in this area. This diversity in climate also brings diversity to wildlife and human life and culture. By lunch, we will cross to Golestan province. We have many protected areas, wildlife reserve and national parks in this area.
Our experts will choose one of these sights depends on the month and the weather, which has a good view of the area so we can have our optional walk in the evening and the morning after. There is a high chance of seeing wildlife in these walks. We will do camping on a nice viewpoint by the evening (Local house accommodation is also possible upon request).

Day 3 : Khaled Nabi & Turkaman Land

After breakfast, we will cross the last ridge of mountains to arrive at the north side and get into the area where Turkmen lives with their famous horses. We will get into the heart of this region and drive up to the shrine of Khaled Nabi (which Turkmen believe him as a pre-Islamic prophet) to see this entire vast region in one panoramic view. We will have some walk in the cemetery next to the shrine to see the unique stones they use at the very ancient times. After watching the sunset from up there, we will drive down and stay with the locals in their local house tonight to enjoy their hospitality.

Day 4 : Turkaman Land - Tehran

Old Famous Silk Road, We will say goodbye to the locals and continue our route to the south and cross the jungles and mountains to the desert side. Again we will see how all of these climates could be as close as 20KM to each other. We will visit the Shrine of Bayazid Bastami which was a Persian Sufi known as “King of the Gnostics”. We will continue to Damghan and visit one of the old caravanserais on the famous old Silk Road on our way to Tehran.
