Gear up to beat the heat with the most amazing trek to Kullu via Barot Valley and Lohardi Village. The Sari Pass and Dehnasar Lake Trek as you get to view the amazing views of one of the biggest and highest lakes of Dhauladhar. Danser Lake is located at an elevation of 4250 Mts (14000 Feet) and has a circumference of about 800 metres. Sari-Pass needs to be crossed from Barot to visit Danser Lake. Which mesmerizes you with sheer magnificence, Sari Pass shows the untouched beauty of the Himalayas with lush green jungles and glaciers. Experience the amazing views of Himachal's own valley of flowers as you camp at Morad, which is a few hours trek from Lohardi (Barot). The trek can be done in 3n/4 days if returning to Barot Valley after reaching Danser Lake or 4n/5 days if you want to cross over and reach Kullu and in the process slide through thick glaciers and come across another beautiful yet secret Lake on your descend. Also there would be a surprise as you come across an ancient village with Malana like practices and is also called the "Herbal Village and Trek" on your own way as you will proceed to catch your bus from Kullu.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Barot

  Barot is a small green valley with breath-taking views and awesome weather throughout the year. It's surrounded by green mountains and accompanied by UHL river. A mixture of old and charming wooden housing and modern construction dominates the landscape. Barot is famous for angling and its fish farms. There is Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary across the UHL river which is home to Goral, Himalayan Black Bear and many pheasant life. 15 kms upwards of Barot through a well paved road we come across the broad and mesmerizing valley of Badagran facing the twin villages of Rajgundha and KukkarGundha. If you think Barot is beautiful, you are in for a suprise as the valley gradually opens up as we drive on our way to Badagran. We have our campsite along the beautiful terraced fields of Badagran, where you can enjoy spacious and comfortable stay in our luxury tents, take a shot at rock climbing, rappelling over the barot waterfall or river crossing and enjoy good music, food and conversations with your fellow trekkers as tomorrow is the beginning of our trek. So we enjoy with bonfire and little wine in the serene environment at Badagran situated at 2200 meters and nestled along ancient villages and their magnificent architecture which will leave you spell bounded.

• Day 2 : Proceed to Lohardi Village

• Day 3 : Dehnasar Lake over Sari Pass (3700m)

  Distance: 12 Kms. After a few hours of crossing Sari Pass we will reach Danser Lake at 4150 meters, it's very cold so advisable to carry good clothes for temperatures of well below zero degree celsius and lots of snow right now. Camp near Danesar Lake

• Day 4 : Dehnasar Lake to Teun

  In case we choose to go to Kullu we would proceed to Teun village at 2700 meters. Teun is a primitive village of Rajput families who usually dont like outsider interference so it's best to stay in tents and keep reasonable distance. We camp outside the village tonight.

• Day 5 : Teun to Naghol (2700m) - Kullu (4-5 hrs trek and drive to dA Base

  Manali - This trek is well marked and passes though many villages all along the Sari Nullah. One can also reach Samalag Village from Teun which is only 7 Km. and then trek to Salang the last bus head of the Lag valley. The trek ends here and we drive to our base in Manali.
