Day 1 : Kandy
Welcome & assistance at the Airport. Journey to Kandy, There are most attractive places such as Kandy Temple (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic-Sri Lanka Dalada Maligawa in Kandy is the most prominent and sacred Buddhist shrine in Sri Lanka, even in the world. This historic temple houses one of the tooth relic of Load Buddha), Gem museum, Kandy art museum, Kandy lake round, it is a very beautiful place for photo shooting. And also guests can enjoy with cultural show in Kandy. The cultural show is famous among tourists to the hill capital, Kandy. The show is performed in the evening and runs for approximately one hour, during which the spectators are held spellbound by the colourful acts on show. Sri Lankan drummers exhibit their skills, and divers forms of dance can be witnessed, all executed with skill and enthusiasm.
Day 2 : Nuwara Eliya
Today we set out on an interesting & scenic train journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. On this 4 Hour Train Journey, there are stunning views (on both sides) of waterfalls in and amongst the tea bushes, small vegetable crops and farms, as well as the lush thick greenery which you can be sure is home to all sorts of Sri Lankan wildlife. Tall trees draped in creeper vines line the railway track before stunning tea estates come into view. Local villagers stop, watch and wave as the train rattles by and, if you’re lucky, you’ll see the tea pluckers expertly harvesting tea leaves in the fields. On arrival in Nuwara Eliya we will visit Haggala Botanical Gardens (Ashoka Vatika)
Day 3 : Nuwara Eliya
Horton Plains National Park is situated in the Central Province of Sri Lanka of Nuwara Eliya District. Horton Plains is a beautiful, silent, strange world with some excellent hikes in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second- and third-highest mountains, Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2359m). The “plains” themselves form an undulating plateau over 2000m high, covered by wild grasslands and interspersed with patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls and misty lakes. The surprising diversity of the landscape is matched by the wide variety of wildlife. The plateau comes to a sudden end at World’s End, a stunning escarpment that plunges 880m.
Day 4 : Colombo
Galle Face Green is a magnificent place to witness a marvelous sun set over Sri Lanka. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles. While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum (Entrance by clients), Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.
Day 5 : Colombo
Enjoy your last morning in Colombo before checking out and being transferred to the airport, where you will depart for your destination with bags full of souvenirs and happy memories.
