Day 1 : Guwahati to Shillong
Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Shillong (120 Km). Arrive Shillong and check-in at hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Shillong to Cherrapunji
Morning proceed on an excursion to Mawlynnong and then drive to Cherrapunji (150 Km).
Drive on a picturesque locales of Khashi Hills through pine woods, undulating passages of grassland, lush green hills to reach Mawlynnong dubbed as the cleanest village in India by Discover India Magazine. See balancing rock just outside the village. Also visit “Living Root Bridge” at Riwai village which is just 3 Km before Mawlynnong. Living Root Bridge is a unique peace of local architecture and amazing example of how human being can use nature to their advantage.
Continue drive Cherrapunji on fishing the excursion. Arrive Cherrapunji and check in at hotel.

Day 3 : Cherrapunji
Day at leisure in Cherrapunji to explore the place on your own. Shora as it is locally called - Cherrapunji is well described as the wettest place on planet earth. Picture perfect locales dotted with numerous waterfalls, undulating highlands, lush green hills, and bird’s eye view of plains of Bangladesh is what dominates landscape of the place. Place boasts of some lovely short walks for nature lovers. One can explore the village interact with locals, know about their way of life or go on a long nature walk exploring the beautiful surroundings of Cherrapunji.

Day 4 : Cherrapunji to Shillong
Morning return to Shillong (60 Km), visiting many places of interests en route. Mawsmai Cave one of the numerous caves found in Meghalaya is one of the prime attractions here. As you move inside the cave you will notice water dripping from the cave roofs forming stalactites and stalagmites a wonderful phenomena specially found in limestone caves. Cherrapunji boasts of numerous waterfalls which come to life once the monsoon hits the region. Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls, Khrem Falls are some of them. Also, visit Thankarang Park which offers a bird’s eye view of Bangladesh plains. Also, stop at Elephant Falls on the way.
Arrive Shillong by late afternoon and check in at hotel.

Day 5 : Shillong to Guwahati
Morning visit Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays) which is a kaleidoscope of various cultures of entire northeast region. This seven story building houses a wide collection of regional artwork, attires, accoutrements, handicrafts, ornamentation, photographs and weapons. Shillong Peak - A view point located 10 km. uphill from the city at an altitude of 1965 mt. Shillong Peak is the highest point in Meghalaya. Place offers a panoramic view of the city below and scenic country side all around. Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians - originally built by a Salvatorian from Germany in 1913 - a small wooden structure was gutted in a Good Friday fire in 1936. Present building was then built, which now is a seat of Bishop and principal place of worship of the over 3,00,000 strong Catholics of the Shillong Archdiocese.
Early afternoon drive to Guwahati (120 Km) stopping at Umiam Lake en route. Located on Guwahati Shilling road at Barapani just 15 kilometers short of Shillong Umiam Lake is a reservoir which was created by damming the Umiam River in the early 1960s. The principal catchment area of the lake and dam is spread over 220 Sq. Km. Lake has many water sports facilities. Arrive Guwahati and check in at hotel.

Day 6 : Depart Guwahati
Morning visit Kamakhya Temple. Located at Nilachal Hills overlooking Guwahati city is Kamakhya Temple - one of the most revered Shakti shrines in India associated with tantric practice and Shakti worship. During the festival of Ambubashi more than a million devotees throng this holy place.
In time transfer to airport/ railway station and depart.
