Package Overview

Bali is a place to simply smile and relax. It’s a deeply spiritual place too. Their love for spirituality is seen every morning. You can find humble offerings of flowers and grains wrapped in banana leaves. Respect to the notion of Sekala and Niskala – the seen and the unseen. It’s not just the spirits they are respectful to. They are respectful to each other and to anyone who is visiting. We have spoken to numerous travelers, but there is something about their uninhabited happy attitude that’s a real pleasure to be around. There is no rat race here, people are courteous, and even though the traffic is killing ins some parts, in the interior of Bali no one is ever in any hurry. It will be a culture shock of the good kind for anyone traveling from a bustling city.

Visit Bali to simply have a smile on your face.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Denpasar

Arrive at Denpasar Airport, meet and greet with your local tour guide, and get transferred to your hotel in Seminyak Area. Our recommendation is the Alila Seminyak Bali, immersing guests in a fantastic beachfront experience, Alila Seminyak Bali is a lush secret garden, a distinctive blend of contemporary architecture woven through with vertical greens, wall-hugging plants, green roofs and landscaped terraces designed to enliven the senses.
Situated at the quieter end of an eight-kilometre beach that stretches north from Kuta and Legian, Seminyak has evolved into one of Bali’s hippest scenes. There are plenty of things to do in Bali Seminyak, for instance the sea here is great for surfing, the sunsets are legendary, the beaches are some of the best in all of Bali, and the streets pulse to the beat of fashionable shopping, a world-class dining scene and notable nightlife.
Spend the day at leisure, enjoy the environment and facilities of your resort. Get refreshed for the Balinese experience in the coming days.

  • Day 2 : Tanah Lot

This morning, take a tour visiting some of the sites of Bali. The tour can go like this:
The Tanah Lot Temple: Tanah Lot on Bali’s western coast is a 15th-century temple that sits on a large offshore rock shaped over millions of years by the swell and the tides of the Indian Ocean. It was built by local fishermen on the suggestion of Nirartha, a Hindu priest from Java who came to Bali in the days of the Majapahit Empire. One of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast built to protect the island from evil, Tanah Lot has been a key item in Balinese mythology for centuries, and it is now the poster child for Bali.
The Taman Ayun Temple: This elegant temple complex was built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi as his family temple. The name literally translates as ‘beautiful garden’ and certainly deserves that label. The terraced courtyards of the temple are set in a huge expanse of grassland, which is surrounded on three sides by man-made channels and entered over a bridge. The inner courtyard has an impressive series of multi-tiered shrines (meru’s). The fourth and last court is considered the most sacred, thus ranks the highest. It is referred to as the Utama Mandala. The intricately ornate central gate is open only during ceremonies, as the entryway for consecrated heirlooms and other ceremonial paraphernalia. Another gate at its east is for daily access. Several tiers of different outlines and sizes rise up into the temple’s skyline. The temple’s three grounds denote the three cosmological levels known to Balinese Hinduism, namely the world of man, the realm of gods and deities, and the topmost divine level. As recounted in the ancient texts of the ‘Adhiparwa’, the whole complex of the Taman Ayun Temple represents Mount Mahameru in the so-called ‘churning of the sea of milk’ or the cosmic formation of the world.

  • Day 3 : Bali

Today, enjoy Bali at your own pace, shop, eat and explore the local shops around you.

  • Day 4 : Ubud

Rice Terraces await today. Ubud is what you would call real Bali, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak or Nusa Dua, Ubud is about 2 hours away. Enroute also visit the Bali Bird Park. Check out from the Seminyak hotel and set out.
Stop at the Bali Bird Park: The park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. Travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too including South America, the African Savannah and Australia. And walk side-by side with cassowaries, crested-cranes, storks and pelicans and many more birds as they wander freely through the park.
After the Bird Park, check in your hotel, refresh and at 7:30 PM we will take you to Laka Leke Restaurant for dinner and enjoy Balinese Dance Performance.
Joged and Children Dance at Laka Leke Restaurant: Joged is traditional Balinese dance which performed by young and beautiful Balinese dancer. Accompanied by bamboo musical instruments, its performed on open-air stage with the most romantic forest and rice field setting.
Unlike other dance performance which performed during temple festival, joged is not a sacred dance is it a performance to entertain guest on special occasions such as wedding parties, dinner parties and anniversary celebrations of youth associations. This dance is most popular among members of youth associations, since the joged dancer will pick a member of the audience to join her in a courting dance where joged dancers flirt with each other in Balinese we call the chosen dance partner a “Ngibing” Once the dancer shakes your hand and presents you with a fresh flower, it means your turn of ngibing is over.
Back at hotel after dinner and dancing.

  • Day 5 : Rice Field Walks

Today is time for some peace, quiet, knowledge and blessings.
Rice field walks and visit a home of Balinese artist
Start at Abangan, a small village located in the north of Ubud, where there is less tourism development but remain green with huge rice paddies and tropical rain forest. Thousands of Balinese artists call this place their home. Take a walk into the rural village through rice paddies path to learn how rice is grown, cultivated and harvested. Also, visit the local organic produce farm where you will see how the Balinese cultivate vegetable, root crops and spices. Continue walking along the rice paddies field to actually see how they plough and plant. They happily invite you for practicing. Afterwards, walk along the village paths and stop at villager’s house to meet one of the artist who is doing carving.
Bali is a Spiritual place, and today you will get a Private Blessing and Purification Bathing at Sacred Holy Temple
Head to the sacred temple our guide will take you to, where a Hindu Priest will be waiting to bless you the way Balinese are blessed on their daily life. We will arrange a set of offering to present it on the temple shrine and a set of traditional Sarong for you to wear during blessing. The priest will lead you the temple shrine located in the inner area of the temple’s courtyard, he will then read a Hindu Mantra to ask the god for your bless and peaceful future life. He will end the ceremony by spraying a holy water to your head and place some rice on your forehead. Afterwards, he will take you to a natural holy water pool used for deep self-purification bathing, enjoy the natural fresh water pool bath and get your mind and soul deeply cooled the holy water.
Next stop is at the Monkey Forest: The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a 27-acre range of cool and dense jungle in the Padangtegal area of Ubud. This exceptional nature reserve and mysterious temple complex is inhabited by a tribe of grey-haired long-tailed macaque monkeys and a ‘must-see’ stop on the village tour. Watch out for your belongings though, the Monkeys love to prank you.
Last stop is at the Puri Saron Ubud Palace, the residence for the royal families of Ubud Kingdom. It was built in 19th century by Ida Tjkorda Putu Kande, the founder of the Ubud Kingdom. As the center, cultural of Bali, Ubud is popular for its arts like painting, sculpture, dance and music. The fine arts of Ubud is applied here along with the traditional Balinese style and sophistication of wood carving. Across the palace, you can visit Ubud Art Market.

  • Day 6 : Pura Ulun Danu Beratan

Today is about seeing more of the beautiful Ubud. Start with the Jatiluwih Valley. This valley offers one of the most astonishing examples of terraced agriculture in the world. In Jatiluwih, the landscape is a sculpture that was meticulously perfected over some five hundred years by many generations of farmers who collectively created an intricate infrastructure of dams, canals and aqueducts to irrigate their individual rice fields most efficiently. Last year Jatiluwih was added to the UNESCO's World Heritage List as a site of outstanding universal value to humanity.
As you on a walk through the terraces the gentle song of water that continuously trickles down from one rice paddy into the next will not fail to mesmerize you.
Next stop is at The Lake Bratan: The Lake District in the central highlands is a region of great natural beauty. On the south bank of Lake Beratan, the largest of three volcanic lakes is the village of Bedugul. Here you find yourself at an altitude of 700 to 900 meters while the surrounding mountain peaks rise to about 2,000 meters. Most of the time the temperature is very pleasant but at night it may be a bit chilly. One of the iconic images that can be seen in every Bali travel guide is a picture of the ‘Pura Ulun Danu Beratan’, the temple on the western shore that is devoted to the goddess of the lake, Ida Batara Dewi Ulun Danu. She is revered as the goddess controlling the water distribution and irrigation system of Bali. The temple was built in 1633 and in its particular setting it offers an image of stunning beauty that no one will forget. In papyrus chronicle of the Mengwi, this temple is referred as the name of Parhyangan ri pinggiring danu Beratan (sanctum located in lakeside of Beratan Lake).
When the water is high enough this temple will appear as if floating on the water.
