Self-guided cycling tour: 6 days from Dubrovnik to Split Package

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Peninsula Peljesac and Korcula

  Start with a shuttle to Ston, salt-producing town on Peljesac peninsula with the longest fortified walls in Europe. Start your ride along the famous vineyards on the pennisula to Orebic, from where you will take a ferry to the island of Korcula, your home for the next 2 nights.
• Day 2 : Exploring Korcula Island - Marco Polo's Home

  Explore the island of Korcula; its hidden coves, beautiful old towns, unique small villages and dark pine forests that cover the island. There are a few options today, either ride on the easier coastal road or do some climbing on rolling hills.
• Day 3 : Island Korcula and Private Boat Ride to Hvar

  Today you will ride around the whole island of Korcula, about 29 miles (46 km) to Vela Luka. Enjoy the scenic south side of the island and ride along the small villages and hamlets. In the early afternoon you have private fast boat transfer to Hvar. Spend the afternoon in Hvar and visit its main attractions. Hvar is trendiest and one of the most popular destinations of Croatia!
• Day 4 : Hvar

  This is a very difficult day, as you have to decide on the best option, and all of them are great! Would you like to head for the beach? Have a short bike ride or just chill in the town in one of its many cafes and watch the world go by? Perhaps take a sailing or sea kayaking trip to some of the islands around? It is totally up to you.
• Day 5 : Lavender Roads and Ferry to Split

  Today’s ride starts with a climb, along the abandoned villages and lavender fields. Riding on the north side of the island you will be passing among lavender fields, olive groves and vineyards. Not to mention it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Late in the afternoon, you will take a boat that takes you to Split, a 1700-year old town.
• Day 6 : Split

  If you have time today, after breakfast you might want to take an easy bike ride along Marjan hill, a famous recreational place of people of Split. Enjoy the rolling coastal ride before an easy climb to the top of Marjan, from where you will have the last view of Diocletian’s Palace and all the islands you were biking on for the last few days. We will meet you after lunch.
