Day 1 : Dar-es-salaam Arrival
Get picked up with warm smiles from our guide upon arrival. We then drive shortly to Dar city to the booked hotel. Get a detailed safari briefing from the guide and settle in to your room to cool off after a long journey.
Day 2 : Selous Game Reserve
Pickup from your accommodation in Dar for a drive to Selous, Africa’s largest game reserve. Arrive around noon where you will have your picnic lunch. Set out for an afternoon boat safari in the mighty Rufiji river. Sail along the beautiful river as to spot hippos and crocodiles more closely with stunning views ahead. Transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Selous Full Day Game Drive
Set out for a full day exploration in the beautiful reserve. Get to spot large population of elephants, lions, buffalos, greater Kudu, bushbucks, elands, impalas, baboons and many others. Have lunch onroute and proceed game drive till evening. Drive back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 4 : Transfer To Udzungwa Mountains
Depart from your accommodation as you prepare for a long drive to the Udzungwa mountains park which is abundant in animal and plant species. Arrive in the evening and check in to the hotel for overnight.
Day 5 : Full Day Trekking In Udzungwa
A beautiful day in the mountains hiking through the Sanje route. The path brings you closer to beautiful wildlife including primates like Sanje Mangabey and Iringa Red Colobus which are indigenous to the area. Get to spot reptiles, amphibians and several bird species along the way. Hike to the beautiful Sanje waterfalls which displays true beauty of the surrounding landscape. Transfer back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 6 : Transfer Back To Dar-es-Salaam
Have an early breakfast and leave the hotel with lunchboxes for a long drive back to Dar es salaam.
