Shillong, Cherrapungee and Guwahati Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati – Shillong (Approx – 120 kms 3 hrs)

  Assistance on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to Shillong also known as ‘The Scotland of the east’. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or at own. Overnight stay in Shillong.

• Day 2 : Shillong - Sightseeing

  This day we embark on a full day local sightseeing tour of Shillong and we would visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Spread Eagle Falls or Sati Falls, Botanical Garden, State Museum. Return to hotel. Post lunch we visit Barapani Lake. Evening free. Overnight stay in Shillong.

  • Hotspots : Spread Eagle Falls

• Day 3 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee (Approx – 56 kms 2 hrs)

  After breakfast we take the transfer to Cherrapunjee also known as ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’, visit Limestone Cave, Waterfalls - Nohsngithiang Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

• Day 4 : Cherrapunji – Guwahati (Approx - 176 kms 5 hrs)

  After breakfast take the departure transfer to Guwahati. Enroute visit Elephant Falls, Gunner’s Falls 1 and Shillong Peak. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Evening free. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

  • Hotspots : Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak

• Day 5 : Guwahati – Sightseeing

  Post breakfast we visit Kamakhya Temple. Afternoon we embark on a sightseeing trip to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. Evening Brahmaputra Cruise. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

  • Hotspots : Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

• Day 6 : Guwahati – Airport / Railway Station

  After breakfast take the departure transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

  Used the services of INB Vacations when i visited India for the first time in 2010. Mr Thakur and his team were very good in looking after us ........ in the planning stages Mr Thakur was very prompt in responding to all correspondence and also very flexible in accommodating all our needs. He chopped and changed the itineraries until we got it down to a tee. The execution of the trip was also on point.....as with everything ....there were a couple minor hiccups through no fault of the company or their staff but all were resolved efficiently, professionally and very promptly. I was so happy with their services ..... i thoroughly enjoyed my trip to India the first time round ..... i returned after 2 years in 2012 and once again without a second thought got in touch with INB Vacations to help sort out my package including accommodation and travel arrangements.
