On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by one of our representatives outside the exit gate. Just keep a look out for a friendly man
holding a placard with your name on it. The representative will take you to your car, from where you’ll be whisked off to your
hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do with as you please.
1.Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the oldest part of Delhi. Poke around the shops, marvel at the architecture, and come shoulder to
shoulder with men and oxen pulling carts full of their wares.
This walk around Old Delhi will last for about four hours, taking in Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir (Jain temple), Gauri Shankar
Mandir (Hindu temple), Sunehri Masjid (Golden mosque), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Sikh temple), Jalebi Wala (sweet shop),
Dariba Kalan (jewellery market) and Paranthe Wali Gali (paratha lane).
2.A day of shopping and exploring in Delhi, where you’ll get the chance to browse and buy both traditional and modern Indian
items.
In the first half of the day you’ll visit Central Cottage Industries Emporium and Santushti Shopping Complex. After spending some
time in each place, you’ll take a break for some lunch before moving onto Select Citywalk, where more shopping will commence.
Once your appetite for shopping has been satiated you’ll be returned to your hotel. Don’t worry – the guide will help you to carry
all your shopping bags!
1.The driver will take you to Agra (04 Hrs / 180 KMS Approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for
refreshments and photography.
2.The Taj Mahal is not the only legacy of the great marble workers of yesteryear in Agra. Many generations on, their ancestors
continue to produce fantastic creations of art, using a combination of marble, precious stones and the tools of their trade.
At the workshops you will visit during this shopping tour, the results of their intricate handicraft will be clear for you to see. After
spending some time observing these masters at work, and asking any questions you might have, you’ll get the chance to buy
anything that catches your eye. You’ll also visit some of the large emporiums, where all kinds of crafted products can be bought.
1.Visiting the Taj Mahal is an absolute must during your time in India. The vast beauty and intricate marble-work of its architecture
complements the romance of its back story perfectly.
Contrasting the delicate beauty of the Taj Mahal is the robust splendour of Agra Fort – just two kilometres (1.3 miles) down the
road. The red sandstone turrets, impenetrable walls and hidden corridors make it a fascinating place to explore.
On arriving at the Taj Mahal, your guide will show you around, giving you an overview of the monument’s history, as well as
sharing some interesting anecdotes. With the guide’s assistance, you’ll be free to wander around the grounds, examine the
architecture, take pictures and step inside the mahal itself. After two hours, the driver will meet you and take you to Agra Fort.
Fifteen minutes after leaving the Taj Mahal, you’ll arrive at Agra Fort and spend some time here before the tour ends.
Optional: If you’d like to see the centuries-old craft of marble-working in action, then mention this to the driver and he’ll happily
take you to one of the workshops before the end of the tour. Please note, this optional activity will add an hour to the duration of
your tour.
2.The driver will take you to Jaipur (4 Hrs / 285 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for
refreshments and photography.
No services included no transport included.
Jaipur is a thriving hub of the handicraft industry, thanks largely to the former rulers of the state capital. Over many years, they
made great efforts to bring together the finest artisans from all over Rajasthan – and even further afield.
This tour will give you the chance to see the results of their endeavours as you watch live demonstrations from a variety of artists.
You’ll also be able to spend some time browsing through all types of arts and crafts, and perhaps buy some special souvenirs to
take home if you wish. Jaipur’s finest antique galleries, handicraft emporiums and jewellery outlets will give you ample
opportunity to do this.
