Package Overview

This tour is operated with a minivan equipped for a minimum of 2 max for 8 people , driven by a fluent English speaking driver.
A drive along the Amalfi coast road to reach excavation of Pompeii to see a real Roman city with its roads, shops, Termopolius, Domes, Circus, Theatre and other sites of interest.
For Pompeii I suggest to hire a guide, the area of excavation is large, sites to see are spread out, with an expert guide you can see the very best, you are entertained with information and funny stories of everyday life in the ancient Pompeii, also you don’t waste your time to locate sites to see and don’t get lost. Without a guide you see only beautiful ruins, but ruins.

Tour continue along the Amalfi coast road where you can stop anytime you wish to take pictures of Mediterranean Sea or to admire Ligally Islands mentioned by Greek poet Omer, again along the way you can stop in Sorrento to walk in the medieval narrows streets and Positano where you can have a lunch by Costantino to enjoy homemade local food and admire a spectacular view of Positano Village.

Day tour end with a safe return to Salerno port to board your ship at wise time.

Shore excursion is of 9 hour from pick up to drop off ship footbridge.

Admission fees for Pompeii, private guide for Pompeii, lunch and driver tip are not included.

P.S. The price of shore excursion, tour, transfer or day tour includes the cost of the private vehicle , driver, gas, road tolls, parking fees and taxes.
It does not includes entrance fees to sites, private guides for museums or archaeological sites or walking tours, the cost of lunch, gratuity for your driver and for the guide.
The tour sequence may be changed due to clients need, local problem or traffic problem, but always covering the sights mentioned with tour description and time frame.
