Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Shimla (365 Kms/10 Hrs)

  On arrival at the airport or the railway station, you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by the Footloose Holidays representative. After being picked up from the arrival location, brace yourself for a beautiful journey, leading to one of the most famous hill stations of India, called Shimla which also enjoyed the status of being the summer capital of the country during the British period. To make your journey more enjoyable, en route visit Pinjore Gardens located at Ambala-Shimla Highway, a refreshing summer retreat to freshen up and rejuvenate your energies. You may also visit Timber Trail, another tourist attraction which offers a cable car ride, giving you the picturesque view of the breathtaking beauty of Himalayas. Enjoy rest of the journey clicking pictures of calm and serene backgrounds. On arrival at Shimla, check-in at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Shimla

  Following the breakfast, it is time to breathe in all the fresh air and beauty of the mountains. First, head towards Kufri, a small town, 20km ahead of Shimla known for its Himalayan National Park which provides panoramic view of the surroundings. You can also enjoy Pony and Yak Ride here. Post lunch, begin with sightseeing of various places in and around Shimla. Feel awe-struck at the architectural beauty of these quaint structures like mosques (1830), Vice Regal Lodge (1885) or Christ Church (1844). Gaiety Theatre of Shimla, one of the famous landmarks of Shimla must not be missed.
  
  Finally, come to the Scandal Point and enjoy the stroll between the Mall and the Ridge, while shopping for little nothings around the place. You can also visit Lakkar Bazaar which caters for wooden artefacts and many mementoes to be carried as keepsake. Enjoy another memorable night at this amazing destination.

• Day 3 : Shimla to Chandigarh (140 Kms/3hrs):

  the hotel and begin your journey to reach Chandigarh, also known as City Beautiful which boasts of being the 1st planned modern city of India, designed by a French architect. As you will enter, you will be wonderstruck with the impeccable planning of the city as well as the abundant beauty which is so well showcased in the florally adorned roundabouts. Check-in at the pre-assigned hotel and enjoy your leisure time exploring the city or quiet time at the hotel with a gastronomic dinner and a relaxed overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Chandigarh to Delhi (250 Kms/5 Hrs)

  Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and before leaving this enchanting city, visit a few of its famous landmarks which are going to be etched forever in your memory. The Rose Garden makes you enter a fragrant world with multiple species of roses to please your senses. The most inspiring structure that has made Chandigarh proud is the Rock Garden, made from the waste material, so creatively used by the artist to gift this world with the most novel idea that is simply unique. Last but not the least; take a stroll around the pride of the city in the form of Sukhna Lake that takes away all the stress and let your heart be peaceful, as you sit on the stone steps to admire this man made wonder. It will be with a heavy heart that you are going to depart from this lovely city for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, you will be dropped at Railway station/Airport to head towards your next destination or homeward journey.
