A tour designed for the golfing visitor to Siem Reap this itinerary combines the best of the Angkor temples with rounds of golf at Siem Reap's 3 international standard golf courses. In between visiting the highlights of Angkor: Ta Prohm, the Bayon and Angkor Wat, improve your swing and putting skills at Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club with its palm-lined fairways, Phokeethra Country Club, the home of the Johnny Walker Cambodia Open which boasts an 11th century bridge between the 9th green and the 10th tee and the Angkor Golf Resort; (locally know as the Nick Faldo Course) US PGA rated and well maintained with generous but challenging fairways. Destination dining and an Apsara dance performance are also on the agenda.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Siem Reap

  Arrive in Siem Reap where you will be met by your expert ABOUTAsia guide and transferred to your hotel. This evening enjoy dinner with a traditional and colourful Apsara Dance Show at Raffles Grand Hotel.
• Day 2 : Booyoung Country Club

  This morning play your first round of the trip with a visit to Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club. Opened in 2009 the course features wide palm-lined fairways with several blind water hazards and some severe greenside bunkers. In the afternoon head out to the temples with a visit to The Bayon, with its many captivating giant stone faces. End the day with sunset drinks on the moat of Angkor Thom, a world away from the tourist crowds.

• Day 3 : Phokeethra Country Club,

  Start the day with a round of golf at the Phokeethra Country Club, home of the Johnny Walker Cambodian Open, part of the Asian tour. This course is a challenging 7,145 yard course by V Golf Design that includes an 11th century Bridge between the 9th green and 10th tee. This evening join us at ABOUTAsia’s Country Villa, situated in a beautiful and tranquil village to the north of the Western Baray. While our chef prepares your dinner you can take a wander across the levees of the rice paddies, look for fish traps, or walk a short distance to a viewpoint over the ancient reservoir.

• Day 4 : Ta Prohm

  Motor through the darkness of pre-dawn to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat as we guide you to the best photo vantage points. Explore the temple in the hours immediately after sunrise when the temple is at its quietest. After a late breakfast explore Ta Prohm temple of ‘Tomb Raider’ fame. Take your time to walk through the ruins in the grip of nature from the West entrance to the East entrance. Spend the afternoon playing a round of golf at Angkor Golf Resort, known locally as the ‘Nick Faldo Course’. This US PGA rated course is well maintained with some generous fairways, but also challenging, with some dangerous water hazards and bunkers.

• Day 5 : Psa Leu

  Explore the Old Market for souvenirs or Psa Leu for a more local shopping experience. Visit the Artisans D’Angkor workshop and Theam’s House to see how local handicrafts are made. A private transfer will take you to the airport for your departure flight.
