Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra (IXB) Airport | New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station to Darjeeling. (90 Kms | 3 Hrs)

  On arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport | New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway station start your drive to Darjeeling (Alt: 7100 Ft.), fondly called “Queen of the Hills”. It is famous for its tea gardens; the spectacular views of Kangchenjunga and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival check-in to your Hotel and freshen up yourself. Evening is free to roam around the market and spend the time on your own. Night halt will be at Darjeeling.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling sightseeing

  After breakfast proceed for Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, P.N.H. Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday close), panoramic view of Tea garden, Gombu & Tenzing rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help centre (Closed on Sunday) and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included). Evening is free to roam around the market and spend the time on your own. Night halt will be at Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling to Gangtok (120 Kms / 04 hrs).

  After breakfast drive to Gangtok (Alt 5500Ft) (Capital of Sikkim) and the heart of the state. Surrounded by monasteries it is also known as “Land of Monastries”. On arrival check-in to your Hotel and freshen up yourself. Evening is free to roam around the market and spend the time on your own. Night halt will be at Gangtok.

• Day 4 : Day excursion tour to Tsongmo Lake + Baba Mandir (52 Kms – One Way)

  After breakfast proceed for a day excursion trip of Tsongmo Lake. It is a glacial lake situated at an elevation of 12,400 ft. and is considered sacred by the local people. Then proceed to Baba Mandir (New Temple) (13200 ft). Return back to Gangtok. Night halt will be at Gangtok.

• Every Indian Nationals requires to carry following documents in order to get the permit to visit Tsongmo Lake & Baba Mandir | North Sikkim (Lachung and Lachen).
• Original photo ID Proofs - Voter ID or Driving Licence or Passport(Aadhar Card & Pan Card are not accepted) children below 18 Yrs. may carry Birth Certificate and School / College ID Card.
• 6 Xerox copy of the above ID Proof.
• 6 Passport Size photographs
