Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP RAILWAY STATION/ BAGDOGRA AIRPORT TO GANGTOK

  Our representative will be there to receive you at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) - you will be assisted for the transfer to Teesta - On the way to Gangtok you will able to see this junction. The river Rangeet with its deep green and crystal clear water gushes in and meets the forceful mountain stream Teesta at a point called Triveni. The confluence takes place on relatively flat terrain, and is surrounded by mountains on all sides. It is the most visited - Nearly 124 kms 5 hours drive - check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  
  Kalimpong is an east Indian hill town in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal. Perched on a ridge above the Teesta River, it’s home to colonial-era buildings like MacFarlane Memorial Church, named after a Scottish missionary. South, the hilltop Durpin Monastery, or Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, contains sacred Buddhist scriptures. Deolo Park has landscaped gardens and offers views of the town and surrounding hills.

• Day 2 : GANGTOK TO SIGHTSEEING

  Start for a Full day city tour covering Enchey Monastery, Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower Show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway, Organic Garden, Banjhakri falls, Ornamental plants & Himalayan Zoological Park. maximum 6 hours. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 3 : GANGTOK TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR

  After breakfast, we started for an excursion to Tsomgo lake,which has a different charm as the lake is situated at 12,400 feet whereas Gangtok is at 5,500 feet. Change of vegetation altitudinal varieties is a must to observe. Lake is regarded as sacred as the meaning itself speaks of the head of the lake. Through a winding road with Rhododendron bushes and shrubs and especially during the winter season-carpeted by snow, arrive at Nathula after 14 kms. Nathula (14,600 feet) is an Indi-Chinese picket and only passes to cross over to Tibet. 3 kms of drive through a beautiful landscape, arrive at Baba mandir (13000 feet), Baba Harbhajan Sahib Mandir is a wishful temple, people offer prayers and seek fulfillment of wishes. Later returned to Gangtok. Nathula is confirmed only on the availability of permits. Nathula is an optional tour, payment has to be done to the driver directly which comes to Rs.1500/per car. The Cost of the pass is extra, depending on the number of adults. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 4 : GANGTOK TO PELLING & RAVANGLA

  After Breakfast proceeds to Pelling 112 km, 5 hours drive, Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures and a gold-plated statue of Guru Padmasambhava. Overlooking a valley, the 17th-century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins, still has evidence of the king’s bedroom and kitchen. Overnight stay at Pelling.
  
  Ravangla or Rawangla or Ravongla is a small tourist town with an elevation of 8000 feet located in the South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is connected by state highway to other major towns in the state and lies between Pelling and Gangtok.

• Day 5 : PELLING HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING TO DARJEELING

  Start for a Full day city tour covering Rimbi water falls, Rabdentse Ruins, River orange garden, Chenrezig statue or Skywalk. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
  
  Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

• Day 6 : DARJEELING TO SIGHTSEEING & NJP RAILWAY STATION/ BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

  Set out for an early morning tour to the Tiger Hill is located in Darjeeling, in the Indian State of West Bengal. It has a panoramic view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga together. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Mahakal Temple, Batasia Loop, Japanese Peace Pagoda, Ghoom Monastery, Ropeway & Darjeeling Tea Garden.
  
  After Lunch and check-out, the hotel dropped by Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station, 72 km, 3 hours.
