Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : BAGDOGRA – KALIMPONG (1250m) : 80 KMS – 3 HRS DRIVE

  Arrive Bagdogra Airport from Delhi/Kolkatta and transfer to Kalimpong. Overnight at hotel

• Day 2 : KALIMPONG – GANGTOK (1780m): 80 KMS 3 HRS DRIVE

  After breakfast visit to Dzong-Dog-Phelri Monastery, a very popular monastery of Kalimpong. On a clear day one can witness the beautiful view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Later visit to a Cactus nursery where you get to see different varieties of South American collections and then we visit a very special church. A Catholic Church but built in a shape of a monastery which you won’t get to see in any part of the world and Mango Dham. Then, we visit to a paper factory. Here you get to see different products made from handmade paper and you can also see the processing. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. Over night at Hotel

• Day 3 : GANGTOK

  After breakfast drive to Sikkim’s largest monastery, the Rumtek Monastery, a drive of about an hour each way and on the way back visit to the Institute of Tibetology. Lunch at a local restaurant.
  After lunch visit to the Handicraft Centre and Flower show where you get to see some seasonal flowers and few orchids. Later in the evening explore around Gangtok town – the M.G. Marg. Over night at Hotel.

• Day 4 : GANGTOK – PELLING (2100m)– 125 KMS – 6 - 7 HRS DRIVE

  After breakfast transfer to Pelling visiting the Buddha Park on the way. Lunch at a local restaurant and continue drive to Pelling. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : PELLING

  Early morning an hour’s uphill hike to Sangacholling Monastery. This monastery is located right on the top of the hill and is very peaceful and serene. On a clear morning one can witness a beautiful view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. After the visit walk downhill to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit to the Khechephelri Lake also known as a wishing lake. On the way back, visit to the Kanchenjunga Waterfalls and Rimbi waterfalls. After lunch at a local restaurant visit to the Ruines of Rabdantse Palace – the second capital of Sikkim. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : PELLING – DARJEELING (2134m) 120 KMS – 6 HRS DRIVE

  After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling – The place know all over the world for its tea. Upon arrival check in at Hotel, evening free.

  • Themes : Adventure, Mountaineering

• Day 7 : DARJEELING

  Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (OPTIONAL and subjected to weather condition) and on the way back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit to the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Himalayan Zoological Park. After lunch at a local restaurant walk to Jorebownglo through some local villages. A walk of about hour and a half. Upon arrival at Jorebownglo drive to Darjeeling town. Evening free

• Day 8 : DARJEELING

  After breakfast Toy Train ride up to Ghoom and back. At Ghoom you will be visiting the Railway Museum and after the visit take the train back to Darjeeling town. After lunch at the local restaurant visit to a tea plantation to witness the manufacture of world famous Darjeeling Tea. Later in the evening experience the Darjeeling Tea testing and walk around the colorful Darjeeling town. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Themes : Mountaineering, Museums

• Day 9 : Darjeeling

  After breakfast day return excursion to Mirik Lake and back. Overnight at hotel

  • Themes : Sightseeing

• Day 10 : DARJEELING – BAGDOGRA

  After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra airport for your onward flight to Delhi / Kolkatta.
