Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT – GANGTOK (125KMS / 04HRS)

  Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport meet & greet, then transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.).(The capital of the state of Sikkim, Gangtok is an attractive tourist destination, reflecting a unique ambience which derives from its happy blend of tradition and modernity. Alongside the deeply felt presence of stupas and monasteries, Gangtok also bustles like any other thriving town). Check-in to hotel & enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Shop around at M.G. • Day 2 : GANGTOK - TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR – GANGTOK (55 KMS ONE WAY)

  After a delicious breakfast at hotel visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok.
  Visit To Nathula Pass (14450ft): The road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is richly surrounded by alpine flora. On a clear day you can even see the road winding down the Chumbi valley. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire. Nathula is open for Indian nationals on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and

  After a delicious breakfast start for a half day trip of Gangtok city, covering Enchey Monastery Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Dro-dul Chorten& Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours). After the local sightseeing of Gangtok receive transfer to Pelling (6,100 ft.). Enjoy overnight stay in Pelling.

• Day 4 : PELLING SIGHTSEEING

  Be a witness of the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 a.m) at Tiger Hill early in the morning (subject to weather condition). Thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) , Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and directly payable by guest). In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Enjoy overnight stay in Darjeeling.
