Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - Gangtok

  Meet and Greet on arrival and transfer to Gangtok - The Capital of Sikkim. After arrival in Gangtok we check in at the hotel (Vehicle Service Ends), following which the rest of the day can be spent at leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok

• Day 2 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

  Today we go an excursion drive to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district, some 40 kilometers (25 mi) from the capital Gangtok. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains which are covered with snow during winter. During summer the snow cover melts and forms the source for the lake. From here we drive further to Baba Mandir. Baba Mandir is a shrine built in honor of Major "Baba" Harbhajan Singh who died in 1968. Many believe that his believe his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas. After the tour we return to our hotel in Gangtok (Vehicle Service Ends). Overnight in Gangtok.
  Optional: Ride to Nathu La at additional cost, subject to availability of permits. Closed on Mon & Tue. Nathu La permit is always issued on sharing basis with other travellers

• Day 3 : Gangtok - Lachen (129 kms; 6 hrs)

  After breakfast we transfer from Gangtok to Lachen. En route guest can stopover at Naga Falls. Lunch can be had at Mangan. After arrival in Lachen, we check in at the hotel (Vehicle Service Ends) following which the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake - Transfer to Lachung

  We leave for Gurudongmar Lake early in the morning at 3:30 AM. Breakfast can be had at a local cafe in Thangu. After breakfast we driver further to the Lake. After the tour, we return to Lachen for lunch. Post lunch we transfer to Lachung. Overnight in Lachung
  Optional: Ride to Kalapatthar at additional cost

• Day 5 : Excursion to Yumthang Valley - Transfer to Gangtok

  After an early breakfast we depart early to visit Yumthang Valley. Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the 'Valley of Flowers' is a nature sanctuary with rivers, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. After the tour we return to Lachung for lunch. After lunch we transfer to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.

• Day 6 : Gangtok - Pelling (Direct - 115kms; 5.5 hrs)

  After breakfast we depart for Pelling. The journey to Pelling is long and tiresome, however, it is more than made up because of the beautiful views of the along the drive. After arrival in Pelling we check into the hotel (Vehicle Service Ends). Overnight in Pelling.Optional: Detour via Namchi at additional cost

• Day 7 : In Pelling - Local Sightseeing

  This day is reserved for a leisurely tour of Pelling town and its surrondings. We visit the famous Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins. We also visit Khecholpalri Lake, Kanchunjunga Fall and Rimbi Waterfall. After the tour, we return to the hotel (Vehicle Service Ends). Overnight in Pelling.
  Optional: Drive to Singshore Bridge at additional cost.

• Day 8 : Pelling - New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (140kms;6 hrs)

  After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for return journey - Tour Ends. Please note that the journey from Pelling to NJP/ IXB is arduous hence guests are advised to schedule their train/flight from NJP / IXB in the evening or extend one night in Siliguri.
