Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra - Gangtok

  Arrive Bagdogra airport. Transfer to Gangtok 112 kms away 51/2 hrs drive along river Teesta, stopping along the way for frequent sightseeing stops. Overnight at Gangtok.

• Day 2 : Gangtok - Rumtek

  Sightseeing of Gangtok- Rumtek Monastry, Research Institute of Tibetology, bazaars etc.

• Day 3 : Gangtok - Phudong - Gangtok (Optional)

  Gangtok - Phudong - Gangtok (Optional).

• Day 4 : Gangtok - Themi Tea Estate - Pemayangtse

  After breakfast, 5hrs drive to Pemayangtse (2985m). Picnic tea/coffee/snacks en route OR Lunch party at the tea estate. En route visit the famous Swiss cheese factory. Overnight at Pemayangtse.

• Day 5 : Pemayangtse - Kechoperi Lake - Yoksom

  Pemayangtse Monastery and ruins of Rabdentse Palace (The first capital of the Chogyal). Afternoon drive to Kechoperi ( the wish fulfilling lake ). Overnight at Yoksom.

  • Hotspots : Pemayangtse Monastery

• Day 6 : Yoksom - Pemayangtse

  After lunch. Overnight at Pemayangtse.

• Day 7 : Pemayangtse To Bagdogra

  After breakfast, drive (about 5 hrs)to Bagdogra airport for departure.
