Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jaisalmer

  The tour departure is early in the morning at 6:00 am by jeep to the campsite, 60 km outside of Jaisalmer, where breakfast is served in time to watch the stunning sunrise.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon – The exciting camel safari gets underway with a ride that is taking you to visit Unda village (a traditional Rajput village) and later Bheelo Ki Dhani (a village of tribal people).
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch and rest in the shade of some trees near the oasis as the sun is fierce at this time of the day.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - From Koda village (Mixed caste village) you are setting out for your afternoon trek to watch native wild life and villages on your ride through the isolated sand dunes (Khayala).

  Your trek carries you across the desert with a stop to watch the amazing sunset before bringing you to our campsite for your first night under the stars. After a day of stimulating desert experiences you can relax while watching your delicious dinner being prepared for you over the camp fire and later, when settling to sleep on your clean bed roll beneath the star filled sky you will have the dreams of the desert.

• Day 2 : Koda Village

  Get the real feel of magic when you have the sunrise served with your breakfast, after which the tour continues with adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes (from Day 2 on any visits to villages are optional according to the wishes of the group; alternatively, the group can choose to enjoy the desert wild life and natural countryside with its peaceful quietness).
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - You will experience the desert environment and can observe the desert vegetation and the exotic creatures on the sand while your ride takes you to visits of Khayala village (a traditional village of Muslim people) and Megha village (a village of mixed caste).
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - The afternoon ride will take you to the next destinations of the camel safari, Rividi village (a village of Paliwal Brahman people) and the beautiful Sajeet sand dunes.

  We stop for another stunning sunset on the way and after your second day’s encounter with the desert you can enjoy watching your mouth-watering dinner being prepared for you over the camp fire. Sleeping beneath the clear starry sky on your bed roll you are bound to have more dreams of the desert.

• Day 3 : Villages and Sand Dunes.

  Get started with sunrise and breakfast served in bed and continue your exciting tour with visits to villages and sand dunes.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - Your trek will take you further across the desert with more impressions of the vegetation and wild life (along with two villages on the way).
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch and rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Enjoy the camel trek while riding to the next village, Bhaiarsar and get the real feel of the desert by visiting the remote villages.

  You will arrive at the Sangar dunes in time to enjoy the sunset after which you can relax into the evening watching your delicious dinner being prepared over the camp fire. Here you will spend your third night under the clear sky, looking at the stars and dreaming of the desert.

• Day 4 : Adventurous

  Enjoying the sunrise with breakfast served in bed will set you up to continue your adventurous tour.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - The trek will take you into remote areas of the desert with visiting Sumaliyai village and later calling at Bhalani village if you wish.
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Move further into the desert while enjoying the trek and visiting the next village, Lakhamna (Rajput village).

  The fourth night is spent on the dunes at Lakhamna, where you arrive in time to watch the magical sunset, followed by traditional campfire and tasty dinner and another view of the beautiful star filled sky and the quiet and stillness of the desert.

• Day 5 : Trekking Deeper

  Having the sunrise served with your breakfast in bed will get you ready for another day of adventures.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon – Trekking deeper into the remote areas you have an opportunity to visit Punasar village and later a Muslim Dhani on the way.
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch and rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - The afternoon ride takes you to Chooreya (a village of mixed caste).

  By the evening the tour arrives at the dunes of Dangri, where you will spend your fifth night. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset, traditional camp fire and mouth-watering dinner, followed by another quiet and peaceful night under the clear star filled sky.

• Day 6 : Final Day of Your Tour

  Sunrise with breakfast served in bed will get you ready for the adventures of the final day of your tour.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - The trek moves on with visiting Karada village and later a Dhani on the way if you wish.
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Enjoy some more camel riding and galloping on the way to our campsite and return to Jaisalmer by a one-hour jeep drive.
  
  6:30 pm – The tour ends.
