Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Guwahati - Dirang (328 km / approx. 9.43 hours drive)

  Welcome to your ˜Experience North East with Tawang tour! You will be met and transferred to your hotel in Dirang. On arrival in Dirang, check in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the picturesque valley. In the evening you visit the apple orchids and the Yak farms. (Assumed your arrival is in early hours of the Day otherwise stay in Guwahati)

• Day 2 : Dirang

  After a leisurely breakfast we spend the day exploring the beautiful Dirang Valley. • Day 3 : Dirang - Tawang (150 km / approx. 5 hours drive)

  Post breakfast drive to Tawang, through Sela- Pass which is the world second highest motorable road at an altitude of 13,700ft. Visit Jaswant Garh, memorialcum- mandir ofa great Indian soldier. Also, admire the pristine beauty of Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall). Retire to the hotel for overnight stay in Tawang.KINDLY NOTE- FOR UPPER TAWANG TOUR, ARMY PERMIT IS COMPULSORY AND ONLY LOCAL CARS ARE ALLOWED. • Day 4 : Zemitahang Sightseeing (200km/10hrs)

  After breakfast, we will head towards a place called Zimithang. It is a beautiful hilly area situated around 100 kilometres away from Tawang.Zemithang is at the end of Tawang district, in the border of China and Bhutan. As the road snakes uphill watch for ˜black-necked crane" a rare verity of bird found in this region. There is a Buddha stupa is also known as Gorchem Chorten, which is around 100 feet height and the largest stupa in that area. After visiting that stupa, we will return to Tawang. On the return route, we will stop at Tara Devi temple in Lum La. After that, we will return to Tawang to stay there for the night.

• Day 5 : Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)

  Post breakfast, experience the behold fascinating view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake) against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Next we drive to Bum la pass which is indo-china border, 37km away from Tawang. Also stop by beautiful Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake. Return to your hotel and stay overnight in Tawang.

• Day 6 : Tawang to Rupa (188 Kms/ 6.4 Hrs)

  Rupa is a small hill station, which lies on the banks of the meandering Tenga River. As Bomdila is only a transit stop over we present Rupa as the new up coming tourist spot. Tourists can enjoy a picturesque view of the hills and the Tenga River. A morning or evening drive around the Rupa border is breathtaking. The natural beauty at the places not only touches our minds but our soul even. The town also provides a great opportunity to visit Shertukpen, the authentic tribal village in the city.

• Day 7 : Rupa to Guwahati (328 Kms/ approx 8.24 Hrs)

  After breakfast, bid farewell to your 'North East Tour' as you are transferred from hotel in Rupa to Guwahati Hotel. You then proceed for Brahamaputra Dinner Cruise (Private) and end the Tour with a dessert to linger in the memory for a life time. End of Tour.
