• Day 1 : Places and Things to do Visit in Sonmarg

  The Sindh Valley, on the way to Sonamarg, has some of the most exquisite scenery in the world. Ganderbal, Kangan, and Gund are three tiny settlements on the route. The first section of the route is littered with picturesque hamlets and rice farms, and Walnut groves are also present.
  
  The Harmukh range, with its rolling alpine meadows, deep canyons, and dense forests, appears at the end. It is 87 kilometres from Srinagar to Sonmarg, which sits at the height of 3,050 metres above sea level.
  
  One may go to Ladakh by the Zoji-La pass from here and another route to Amarnath. It is possible to do a number of treks from Sonmarg, and River rafting on the Sindh River is another popular activity in Sonmarg.

  1. Thajiwas Glaciers
