Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive Rishikesh to Gangotri

  Start early morning from Rishikesh and drive to Gangotri - 270 km/10 hours. Nighst stay at hotel in Gangotri.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast Lunch Dinner

• Day 2 : Towards Bhojbasa

  Begin your trek from Gangotri and head towards Bhojbasa - a trek worth 14 km. The trek is not too steep and remains gentle most of the way. Night stay in camps at Bhojbasa.

• Day 3 : Bhojbasa to Gomukh and Tapovan

  Start early morning for a technical mountaineering day. After 3-km you will reach Gomukh, where river Ganga originates. After spending some time there, the team will walk across the Gangotri glacier and finally reaching the beautiful meadows of Tapovan.

• Day 4 : REST DAY

  Rest today and enjoy the pristine sights of Himalayas, with magnificent view of Bhagirathi, Shivling and Meru peaks. A quick hike to Blue Lake can also be planned.

• Day 5 : Tapovan - Nandanvan - Tapovan

  Nandanvan is another meadow nestled between big peaks and glaciers. Spend some time here and return to Tapovan base camp.

• Day 6 : Tapovan to Bhojbasa

  Start the hike back towards Bhojbasa, the hike is worth 6 km. What you are leaving behind are amazing memories of amazing Himalayas.

• Day 7 : Bhojbasa to Gangotri

  Take the downhill walk to Gangotri - 14 km - to finish your trekking days. Stay at the hotel in Gangotri.

  Drive from Gangotri early morning and reach Rishikesh in evening.
