  afternoon : a City Tour of Bombay. Drive Past the Shopping Center of Colaba Causeway to the Fishing Yillage At Cuffe Parade. Drive Past the Impressive Building of the High Court,The Bombay University and the Rajabai Clock Tower to the Victoria Terminus Railways Station. Further Down is the Crawford Market Drive Along the Marine Drive, the Main Boulevard On to Malabar Hill Which Has An Exclusive Residential Area. Visit the Jain Temple, the Hanging Gardens and Drive On to Banganga, An Area Quite Unusual and Different with a Water Pond Surrounded On all 4 Sides By a Number of Temples.   Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Tiruvanmiyur just’ outside the Madras city where a 20th century “”Temple of Art” called the Kalakshetra and a 11th century Chola temple are almost neighbors. Kalakshetta is an institution devoted to Indian music, dance, weaving, textile designing etc., Where classes are held in ‘traditional huts or in the open air under the shade of trees. Drive to Kanchipuram the “Golden town of a thousand Temples” and one of the seven sacred Hindu cities in India whose temples date back to the 7th and 8th centuries.
  
  Later drive to Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram is virtually an open – air museum of sculptor in living rock rarely to be seen anywhere in the world. The piece de resistance is Arjuna’s penance, the world’s largest bas relief Equally famous for the Shore Temples, a composition of pure poetry in granite.

  Morning: Breakfast At the Hotel. Drive to Pondicherry (100 Kms / 2 Hrs), the Former Capital of the French Territories in India. Visit the 200 Years Old Raj Niwas, the Residence of the Lieutenant, Governor ()f’ Pondicherry Which Has a Mixture of French and Indian Architecture. Visit the Home of Late Ananda Ranga Pillai Who Was the Trusted Confidante of Dupliex, the French Governor General. the House is Architecturally a Fusion of French & Indian Styles.
  
  afternoon: Drive to Chidambaram to See the Famous Temple of Dancing Shiva Which is Considered to have the Most Perfect Expression of Movement. the Roof of the Temple is Gold Platted and It Has a Hall that Has 1000 Pillars. Drive to Thanjavur (130 Kms/ 3 Hrs).

• Day 6 :

  Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. A city tour of Thanjavur. visiting the palace, the museum, the gallery and the enormous Brihadeeswara Temple built towards the end of the 10th century.
  
  Afternoon: The rest of the day is dedicated to witnessing the exquisite arts and crafts of this region by visiting the homes of various craftsmen. Witness the making of art plates, musical instruments, mirror and glass works, the exquisite Tanjore paintings, silk weaving, works of bronze by the lost wax process.
