Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai

  Arrive at Chennai airport met and get greeted and assisted by our airport and transferred to hotel. Chennai is a coastal city with the second largest beach in the world. In afternoon visit the major tourist attraction like Kapaleeswara Temple, Sri Parthsarathy Temple, Fort Museum, Valluvar Kottam, Birla Planetarium, and Fort St. George. Rest of the evening you can shop and enjoy the leisurely hours. Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 2 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

  After morning breakfast drive to Kanchipuram. On the way to Mahabalipuram explore the golden city of temples "Kanchipuram". The city of numerous temples, Kanchipuram is an amazing heritage. Visit the famous Ekambareshvara Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Devarajaswami Temple and Kailasnath Temple. Head towards Mahabalipuram. Major attractions are the famous Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Caves, Five Rathas, Thirukkalukundram and Tiger Cave. Evening check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

  Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed for a whole day tour of Mahabalipuram visit the famous Shore Temple, located at the shore of bay of Bengal, Visit the famous nine rock caves, get charmed by the pride of Mahabalipuram "Arjuna's Penance" One of the world's largest and finest stone bas-relief, Visit the gigantic Five Rathas. These ratha's are carved from single rock. After the day trip the journey proceeds toward Pondicherry check in the resort and enjoy the exotic food and good night a sleep. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Pondicherry

  Morning after breakfast proceeds to explore the Famous Indian - French land "Pondicherry". In Pondicherry visit the famous Sri Aurobindo Ashrama, Pondicherry has been greatly influenced by Sri Aurobindo the great seer, prophet and poet of twentieth century. Explore the famous 16 centaury Greco-Roman architectural Aayi Mandapam, pay homage to the martyr of first word war at French war memorial, see the Duplex statue, 19th centaury light house, Pondicherry museum and library French institute of Indology, Botanical garden, serenity beach, Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Explore Auroville village, see the famous Mantri Mandir, grab some fresh air in Auro beach and many more. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Pondicherry - Trichy

  Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Trichy. Tiruchirappalli, situated on the banks of the river Cauvery. It was ruled by Cholas which was later conquered by Pallavas. Tiruchchirappalli, fourth largest city of Tamil Nadu teems with temples and monuments and is an important tourist center of the State. Major tourist attractions are Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Jambukeswara Temple, St John's Church, Rock Fort, Vayalur, Thiru Erumbur and Thiruvellarai, in the evening take the rest for the day in the Resort. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Trichy - Thanjavur

  Morning after breakfast proceeds towards Thanjavur. Check in the hotel and head for a full day local tour of Thanjavur. Thanjavur District is the Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu. The Big Temple and the other famous temples in the district are world famous. "Thanjavur" birth place of the Carnatic music, musical instruments, dance and traditional handcrafts. Visit the famous Thanjavur palace, visit the famous Sangeet Mahal, Brihadeeswara Temple and Fort, and get captured by the beauty of Raj Raja Chola Art Gallery, Saraswati Mahal Library. Evening get back to the Resort and rest for the night. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Thanjavur - Madurai

  Morning after breakfast check out and get geared up for a lovely ride to Madurai. Madurai is one of the oldest cities and was the significant cultural and commercial capital during 550 AD. Situated on the banks of river Vaigai, Madurai has a rich cultural heritage. It is said that lord Shiva appeared and drops of nectar from his hair on the town so it is named as Madurai or "sweetness". Get fascinated by the glorious Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal, Museums and Mariamman Teppakulam Tank. Overnight at the houseboat.

• Day 8 : Madurai - Rameshwaram & Back

  Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is a small island in the Palk Strait and is referred as the benaras of the south. Rameshwaram is the place from where Lord Rama, built a bridge across the sea to rescue his wife Sita, from her abductor, Ravana. Visit the holy Ramanathaswamy temple, Kothandarswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi, Coral Reefs, Thiruppullani, Ramanathapuram. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Madurai - Kanyakumari

  Morning after breakfast geared up and head towards the beautiful Kanyakumari. Reach Kanyakumari and check in the hotel. Then proceed for a full day tour of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is associated with goddess Kumari the virgin, Kanyakumari (Cape Comorian). Kanyakumari has become a busy pilgrimage centre dedicated to the goddess Devi Kanya an incarnation of Parvathi this land has great spiritual significance for Hindus. Major tourist attractions are Cape Comorin, Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi (Memorial) Mandapam, Vivekananda Memorial, Guganathaswami Temple, Government Museum, Olakkay Aruvi (Waterfalls), Kumarak Koil, Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 10 : Kanyakumari - Kovlam

  Morning after breakfast drive to Kovlam. Rest day at relax on beautiful Kovlam beach. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 11 : Kovlam -Trivandrum

  Morning after breakfast. Drive to Trivandrum Airport to board flight for onward journey.
