Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Chennai

  Major Attractions : Temples, Beaches, Tanjore Paintings, Bharatnatyam, Pongal India Tours, Visit India - India Travel Delicious Cuisine : Dosa-vada-sambar, Chettinad chicken Detailed Itinerary : As you arrive at the Chennai airport or railway station, one of our representatives will welcomes and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. As you fresh up and relax, we take you on a sightseeing tour of the various temples in Chennai. Since this itinerary is especially meant to cater to Temple tours of South India, you get an opportunity to witness the glorious Kapaleeswarar temple, Marundeeswarar Temple and the Parthasarathy Temple. You also get an opportunity to visit the Fort Museum, Santhome Church and National Art Gallery along the way. Overnight stay at the hotel is planned.

• Day 2 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

  Detailed Itinerary : In the morning as we finish our breakfast at the hotel, we drive from Chennai to Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is considered as one of seven sacred cities of Hindus. You can witness the glorious temples of Kanchipuram that includes Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Varatharaja Temple Kailasanatha Temple, and Ekambareswara Temple. Thereafter, we take you to to Mahabalipuram in order to visit famous Shore Temple. You are bound to feel as it going back in time as you explore the glorious temple. You also get an opportunity to spend your afternoon touring the temple complex, taking in the detailed architecture. Upon the arrival at Mahabalipuram, you will then be accommodated at one of pre-booked hotels. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel only.

• Day 3 : Mahabalipuram - Tanjore

  Detailed Itinerary : As we finish our breakfast, we embark on journey towards Tanjore. We also make sure to visit Pondicherry, Raj Niwas, Sacred Heart Church and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. As we continue to Tanjore, we also check into a pre-booked hotel. Thereafter, we also proceed to witness the royal Brahadeeswara temple, Nandi (Bull)) and the Royal Palace complex. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel only.

• Day 4 : Tanjore - Trichy

  Location : South-eastern part of India Major Attractions : Temples, Beaches, Tanjore Paintings, Bharatnatyam, Pongal Delicious Cuisine : Dosa-vada-sambar, Chettinad chicken Detailed Itinerary : As we finish our breakfast at the hotel, we embark on half day sightseeing tour of Tanjore. We make you witness the famous attractions and proceed to Trichy thereafter. The sightseeing tour will include Lord Robert Clive's house as well along with other attractions including Srirangam Temple, Rock-Fort Temple and Ganapati Temple. On the arrival, we make you check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Trichy - Madurai

  Location : South-western part of India in Arabian Sea Major Attractions : Adventure Sports, Beach Resorts, Exotic Beaches What Makes For A Holiday : Scuba Diving and Underwater Corals Detailed Itinerary : As we finish our breakfast, we embark on our journey towards the famous Rock Fort Temple. Thereafter, we proceed to Madurai. As this itinerary is specially designed by Travelogy India considering the South India Temple tour, we make you visit one of the major temples, Meenakshiamman temple. Upon the arrival, one of our representatives helps you to transfer you to the pre booked hotel. You can spend the day exploring the beautiful temple and witness its intricate art work and designs. You will also visit the Thirumalai Nayak's Palace and Gandhi Museum. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel only.

• Day 6 : Madurai - Chennai

  Detailed Itinerary : After having our breakfast, we embark on the sightseeing tour of Madurai, the Athens of the East. As we go for exploring the beautiful temple with its intricate art work and designs, we arrive in Chennai thereafter. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel only.

• Day 7 : Chennai - Back Home

  Detailed Itinerary : In the early morning, after having our breakfast, we take you on a short sightseeing tour of Chennai. We make you visit the renowned temples like Kapileshwara Temple, Parathasarathy Temple, Ashtalakshmi Temple, and Sri Vadapalani Andavar Temple. We also give you an opportunity to finish your last minute shopping. After a farewell dinner at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport to board flight for your home/onward destinations.
