Day 1 : Chennai
Arrival at CHENNAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and get greeted by the tour representative and transfer to hotel.
CHENNAI - the gateway of South India, erstwhile known as Madras, is the elegant and powerful capital city of Tamilnadu. On arrival check in at hotel and after fresh up proceed to sightseeing to in Chennai.
Visit Kapaleeswarar Temple - This ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is a typical example of Dravidian architecture. Fort St. George, Santhome Church, Marina Beach, National Museum and Art Gallery with Pallava, Pandava and Chola time archaeology, art especially with bronze statues and stones. Retune back to the hotel.

Day 2 : Mahabalipuram (Chennai - Kancheepuram - Mahabalipuram 135 Kms)
After breakfast, proceed to MAHABALIPURAM en-route visit KANCHEEPURAM, it was the historical capital of the Pallavas Dynasty during the 7th - 9th Centuries. This is a spectacular Temple city known as City of Thousand Temples.
Visit Sri Kailasanathar Temple - the temple dedicated to Lord Siva, it is one of the earliest temples built by Rajasimha and his son Mahendra in the 08th century AD. There are 58 small shrines situated around the main shrine as a compound wall. Sandstone was used in the construction of this temple. Kamakshi Amman Temple - the temple built in the 14th century by the Cholas. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi - the presiding deity of Kanchi. Here is the goddess is worshipped in the form of a Chakra placed in front of the idol. The temple has a golden Gopuram (tower) in the centre. The annual car festival held in the temple in February/March time. Varadarajar Perumal Temple - this temple is an enormous and remarkable structure. The hundred Pillar-hall erected during the Vijayanagar period in this temple is noted for its exquisite sculptures. The ornamental rings carved out of a single stone in a chain at the four corners are the special features of the hall. Later go to Mahabalipuram.
MAHABALIPURAM, lies on the Coromandal Cost which faces the Bay of Bengal. This is a stylish place to watch a well established sea port was during the 07th & 10th Centuries of the Pallava Dynasty. This is the second capital of the Pallavas. The Rock-cut caves, temples made from a single rock with deferent type of structures and paintings are really formulate Mahabalipuram is a fascinating tourist place.

Day 3 : Tanjore (Mahabalipuram - Tanjore 310 Kms/ 06.30 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast, proceed to THANJAVUR, it was the cultural capital of the county in 1790. During the period it was Granary of South India. Now the Thanjavur is the famous center of all the classical arts and music. Thanjavur gained Cholas, Nayakas and Mahrattas Dynasty kings on 09th to 16th century and built lot of beautiful temples with big stands tall with its beaming tower. It’s one of the architectural wonders of the world.
On arrival check in at hotel after fresh up visit the Brihadeshwara Shiva Temple was built by Chola King Rajaraja at 09th - 13th Century. Afterwards visit Thanjavur Art Gallery to see bronze statures, granite sculptures on the time of 09th to 16th century. Thanjavur is the best place for shopping the handicraft, bronze icons, brass items and paintings.

Day 4 : Madurai (Tanjore - Palani - Madurai 362 Kms)
After breakfast proceed to Palani, it is a holiest resort for all the devotes of Lord Murugan, he is the son of Lord Shiva.
Visit Palani Murugan Temple, Pillayarpatti and Karpaga Vinayaga temple etc. Afterwards drive to Madurai.

Day 5 : Rameshwaram (Madurai - Rameshwaram 175 Kms/4.00 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast, visit Madurai Meenakshi Temple: It is one of the enormous temple complexes is dedicated to Shiva, known here as Sundareshwara and his consort Goddess Parvati or Meenakshi. The both shrines are covered with heavy gold plates. You can see 1000 pillars hall built in 16th Century by Nayakas by pure granite stones. Thirumalai Nayak Palace: This Palace was built in 1636 by King Thirumalai Nayak with the help of an Italian Architect. The building we see today was the main Palace where the King lived. The original Palace Complex was four times bigger than the present structure. This palace consisted mainly of two parts, namely Swargavilasa and Rangavilasa. Gandhi Museum : This is the great historic museum and tourist attractions in Madurai. It is one of the rare living memorial and work of The Father of India `Mahatma Gandhi’. The museum contains paintings, sculptures, Gandhian quotations, articles of village industries and Khadi crafts that were used him.
Finish the Madurai sightseeing and drive to Rameshwaram, one of the most sacred town of India, it is well known for its temple corridor, an island situated in the gulf of manner at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Rameshwaram is the place from where Lord Rama, built a bridge across the sea to rescue his consort Sita, from her abductor Ravana.
On arrival check in at hotel and after fresh up visit Ramanatha Swamy Temple, the masterpiece of Dravidian architecture boasts of the largest temple corridor in India was built in 17th century.

Day 6 : Kanyakumari (Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari 425 Kms/5.30 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari, it is famous pilgrim centre situated at southernmost tip of the Peninsular India, the confluence of three seas Arabian Sea, The Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal, it is a beautiful blend of sun, sea and sand and breathing divinity into the air, water and fire. It is the only place in India where one can enjoy the unique experience of watching the sunset and moonrise simultaneously on a full moon evening.
On arrival check in at hotel and after fresh up visit Kumari Amman Temple, the colossal 133-foot tall Tiruvalluvar Statue, Gandhi Memorial, Beach, Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial and watch sunset in Kanyakumar.

Day 8 : Kovalam
After early breakfast, stroll on the beach and enjoying the bay of calm water ideal for sea bathing. Proceed to Trivandrum city sightseeing. Visit PADMANABHA SWAMY TEMPLE: This temple is located inside the East Fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. It is known for its mural paintings and stone carving. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple. (Dress Code: DHOTHY for men and SAREE for women). Kuthiramalika (Putenmalika) Palace Museum (open 08.30 to 13.00 hrs, 15.00 to 17.30 hrs closed on Monday) the Place was built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma - the King of Travancore. The Palace museum displays paintings and various priceless collections of the royal family. The Zoological Park: (10.00am to 6.15 pm- Closed on Mondays). One of the first Zoo in India. It is located in a well planed Botanical Garden, with huge trees, sprawling lawns and wild fowl swimming in the lakes which feel like a small jungle in the heart of the City. A reptile house with different species of snakes is also located in this premise. Napier Museum & Sree Chitra Art Gallery: (10.00 AM to 04.45 PM- Closed on Mondays and Wednesday forenoons) Located near the Napier Museum, this art gallery displays select paintings of RAJA RAVI VARMA, Svetlana and Nicholas Roerich and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of art in India. The collection also includes paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali.
At evening enjoy the beach and watch sunset.

Day 9 : Alleppey Houseboat Cruise (Kovlam - Alleppey 175 Ksm/4.00 Hrs Drive)
After early breakfast proceeding to ALLEPPEY: (The Venice of the East) is a district of immense natural beauty, caressed by the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing the backwater county.
On arrival check-in at Houseboat cruise Alleppey round (a luxury boat made in ethnic Kerala style having well appointed sitting room, bedrooms, toilet and kitchen) enjoy the tranquil beauty of the inland waters and the countryside for one day.
Houseboat Cruise at ALLEPPEY through narrow canals ~ Pathiramanal Island ~ Virgin village ~ paddy fields ~ historical places ~ Temples ~ Churches ~ Snake boat ~ Coconut beer shop (Toddy shop) ~ Kuttanad Village etc. Enjoy spectacular lush green paddy fields, where you may enjoy an unique nature, life style of village people and their activities like Coir roping, Toddy tapping etc.
Meals served will be of typical Kerala cuisine. Welcome Drink: Tender Coconut, Lunch: Boiled/Basmati Rice, vegetables, fish fry/curry, salads, Pappad. Evening: Tea / coffee with snacks & Banana Fry. Candle Light Dinner: Rice/Chapathy, Dal Curry, Vegetable Curries and Chicken Curry. Breakfast: Bread with butter, jam & eggs or Kerala style Breakfast (Iddly/Dosa). All meals will be provided in the House Boat. Any changes required will have to be intimated in advance. Pure Vegetarian dishes, Dishes with Less Spicy for European Guest, North Indian Recipes etc. are also known to our Chef.
Guest can also buy fresh Prawn, Crab or any fresh fish during their cruise from fishermen (fresh catch) and our Chef will prepare if for the guest according to there taste without any additional charge.

Day 10 : Alleppey - Cochin International Airport (100 Kms/2.00 hrs drive)
After breakfast, departure with lot of memories and thousands of photographs, the cab will drop you at COCHIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT/RAILWAY STATION.
