Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai

  Begin your tour Arrive into Chennai Welcome to Vardhman's "South India Tour With Beaches" ! On arrival in Chennai, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel.
• Day 2 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Chennai

  After breakfast, full Day tour of Mahabalipuram & Kanchipuram. The city of Mahabalipuram is famous for the seven pagodas. Here on the seashore is an interesting group of ancient rock hewn temples which are the examples of Dravidian style of Architecture. In the evening drive back to Chennai. Overnight: Hotel.
• Day 3 : Chennai - Madurai (By train)

  After breakfast, proceed on a city tour of Chennai. Visit the Museum to see the Art and Bronze Gallery. Drive through the Flower and Fruit market, High court, Fort museum, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral and snake park . Late evening transfer to railway-station for overnight train journey to Madurai. Overnight : Train.

• Day 4 : Madurai

  Morning arrival at Madurai check into your hotel. Later proceed on a city tour of Madurai Visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams – (rising high above the surrounding countryside). Later, visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace – a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches. In the evening visit the Meenakshi Temple to attend the "Aarti" ceremony. Overnight: Hotel .

• Day 5 : Madurai - Periyar

  After breakfast drive to Periyar and transfer to hotel. Boat cruise on the lake of the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Periyar-an ariticial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is in the heart of the Wildlife sanctuary. Wild Elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even tigers come to shores of the lake to drink. Return to hotel for breakfast. Thereafter drive through the winding "Ghats" kind with prosperous tea plantations & then arrive the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy field to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater willage on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake, crises crossed with meandering waterways and ancient cottages. Overnight: Hotel.
• Day 6 : Periyar - Trivandrum

  After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum . Upon arrival at Trivandrum check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel.
• Day 7 : Trivandrum

  This morning after breakfast visit the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple , Museum Complex, Science and Technology Museum , Aakulam Boat Club, Veli Tourist Village and the lovely Kovalam Beach. Overnight: Hotel .

• Day 8 : Trivandrum - Cochin

  After breakfast, drive to Cochin visiting the Kerala villages enroute. Upon arrival at Cochin check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel.
• Day 9 : Cochin- Bangalore (By train )

  This morning after breakfast, proceed on a city tour of Cochin. Cochin - the palmgreen commercial town of Kerala has one of the finest natural harbours in the world. The Chinese fishing nets can be seen at the entrance of the harbour. The Chinese through trade contact taught this technique of catching fish. In time transfer to the Railway station to catch train for Bangalore. Overnight : Train.
• Day 10 : Bangalore

  Morning arrive Bangalore and transfer to hotel followed by breakfast. Later proceed on a city tour of Bangalore Visit Cubbon park, Lalbagh, Tipuâ's fort, Government museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Bull temple, Viswesvaraya Industrial and Technological museum, Ganesh temple, Gandhi Bhavan, Ulsoor Tank, Gavipuram Cave Temple, St. Mary's Basilica Church, Auqarium, and a number of other places around the city. This beautiful city lends its name to the district of Bangalore to which the city is perceivably the capital of the state. Bangalore is also called as Garden city due to its well laid parks and gardens. Overnight: Hotel .
• Day 11 : Bangalore - Mysore

  This morning drive to Mysore. Upon arrival at Mysore check into your hotel . Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel .
• Day 12 : Mysore

  After breakfast, visit the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911 - 1912. The palace is of harmonious syntheses of the Hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent. Visit the Art Gallery; drive upto Chamundi hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. On the way back, see the Nandi Bull. Overnight: Hotel.
• Day 13 : Mysore - Chennai (By train)

  Morning free for leisure activities.In the afternoon transfer to railway station to catch train for Chennai. Upon arrival at chennai check into your hotel. Overnight: Hotel .
• Day 14 : Chennai - Back Home
