Relax for a While and Later Proceed for Sightseeing of Chennai. Visit Museum to See the Art and Bronze Gallery (closed On Fridays and Public Holidays). Drive Through the Flower and Fruit Market, High Court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, San Thome Cathedral and Snake Park.

  Today Morning Leave for Mahabalipuram. Enroute Visit Kanchipuram (64kms from Chennai (madras), Which Was the Capital of the Pallava Dynasty and Has About 1000 Temples and Many of Them are in Use to this Day. Some Important Temples Include Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy. Knachipuram is Well Known for Its Silks.

  Madurai-the Ancient City Some 2600 Years Old is Laid Out in the Banks of River Vaigai as a Lotus Flower with the Meenakshi Temple in the Centre. Proceed On a City Tour Visiting – Meenakshi Temple, King Tirumala’s Palace, Great Tank and Gandhi Museum. Visit Meenakshi Temple for Prayer Ceremony in the Evening.

  This morning after breakfast drive to Kottayam/Kumarakom. On arrival, check into your Houseboat. The overnight cruise takes you through Kumarakom/Kottayam backwaters allowing you to enjoy serene surroundings en route. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served on board. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life from a close quarter. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat.
