Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Chennai

  The South India Jungle takes off with your arrival at Chennai. You'll receive a genial welcome by our representative on airport and escorted to the hotel where you'll be staying overnight. Complete the check in formalities at the hotel and relax and unwind in the comfort of your hotel.

• Day 2 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram

  This day, you'll be driven to temple cities of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram to witness the exotic temples. Marvel at the beauty and grandeur of architecture and intricate carvings of ancient temples. At Mahabalipuram you'll visit Arjuna's Penance, Sculpture Museum, Shore Temple, Five Rathas among others. The sights at Kanchipuram include: Kanchi Kamakashi Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Kailasanathar Temple and others.
  Later, you'll be boarding a train to Trichy.

• Day 3 : Trichy

  Arrive at Trichy. You'll be transferred to hotel. Later, set out for sightseeing trip of the city. The main attractions include Rockfort Temple, Thayumaavar, Uchchi Pillayar and Manikka Vinayagar and others.
  Night stay at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Madurai

  Early in the morning you'll be departing for Madurai. On arrival, check into a hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Night stay at Madurai hotel.

• Day 5 : Madurai sightseeing

  The day is day is dedicated to magnificent city attractions. The breathtaking locales and exotic places will surely sweep you off your feet. Visit the Meenakshi Temple, Koodal Alagar Temple, Gandhi Museum, among others.

• Day 6 : Periyar

  The real excitement starts today. You'll be heading to Periyar. Periyar National Park is situated around 100 km east of Alleppey. The sprawling park has core zone of 350 sq km which is called Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. There are 62 different species of mammals, 320 species of birds, 45 species of reptiles, 38 species of fish and 27 species of amphibians have been recorded in the park.
  On arrival at Periyar, you'll be transferred to the hotel where you'll be enjoying the night stay.

• Day 7 : Visit sanctuary

  The entire day is dedicated to explore the exotic wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy an exciting boat ride in the lake. Cruising on the lake, you may catch sight of exquisite avian and aquatic species. The surrounding flora will leave you memorized while the sight of a tiger and leopards will leave you spell bound. Explore the jungle to your heart's content. Evening retire to the resort for night stay.

• Day 8 : Cochin

  Today, you'll be departing for Cochin or Kochi s it is called by locals. As you arrive, you'll be received and transferred to a luxurious hotel for night stay. After relaxing for a while, set out for a city sightseeing tour. Visit Fort Kochi, Wellington Islands, St Francis Church, Synagogue.

• Day 9 : Cochin - Ooty

  Today, you'll be heading to Ooty by road. The distance is around 200 km which will take around 5 hours to reach. On reaching, check into a hotel for night stay. Rest of the day is kept free for you.

• Day 10 : Ooty

  Ooty or Udhagamandalam is a very popular hill station in Tamil Nadu. Enjoy this fabulous place at leisure. Visit interesting places like Ooty Botanical Gardens, Doddabetta Peak, Wax World Museum, Echo Point and Hidden Valley among others. Night stay is scheduled at the hotel only.

• Day 11 : Ooty - Bandipur

  Today, you'll be driven to Bandipur National Park. On reaching, check into a hotel. Relax and unwind in the comfort of jungle resort.
  In the evening, you'll be taken on a jungle safari to explore the exotic wildlife.

• Day 12 : Bandipur

  The day is devoted to explore the entire Bandipur National Park. Explore the Bandipur Bird Sanctuary on end and enjoy the sight of exotic avian and mammal species. Go for hiking trip in the jungle. Horse and jeep safaris are also available for the wildlife enthusiasts. Retire to the hotel to relax and shed off day's weariness.

• Day 13 : Bandipur - Bangalore

  Today, you'll be driven to Bangalore, the silicon valley of India. On arrival, check into a hotel and relax for a while.
  In the afternoon, you'll be taken on a sightseeing trip of Bangalore. You'll be visiting Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Palace, Bannerghatta Park and MG Road among others.
  Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 14 : Bangalore - Chennai

  This day, you'll be escorted to Bangalore airport to board a flight to Chennai. On reaching check into a hotel for night stay.
  Later during the day, set out for visiting places of interest in Chennai. You'll get to see St George Fort, Marina Beach, St Thomas Basilica and other sights of tourist interest.

• Day 15 : Chennai - Departure

  This is the concluding day of South India Jungle Tour. You'll be transferred to the airport to board the flight back home.
