Day 1 : Arrival Chennai
Arrival at Chennai's International Airport. Our representative will receive you with warm welcome and assist you to transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Chennai
After breakfast have city tour including Kapaleswar Temple - The ancient Kapaleshwar Temple, situated in Mylapore, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The fragmented inscription here dates back to 1250 AD. But the present temple was rebuilt by Vijayanagar Kings in the 16th century. Fort St. George and St. Mary's Church - Fort St. George is the first fortress of British power in India and was built in 1654 and remodeled in 1749. The fort has a six-meter tall wall that withstood many invasions by Mughals in 1701, Marathas in 1741 and Hyder Ali during the late 18th century. Now the fort is turned into the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Sri Parthasarathy Temple - One of the oldest surviving temples in Chennai, the Sri Parthasarathy temple was built by the Pallavas in the 8th century, the temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna.This is one of the oldest surviving temples in Chennai. Evening free at Marina Beach - This popular beach runs for 12 km and is the second longest beach in the world. The beach drive runs between magnificent stately buildings like the Chetpauk Palace, University of Madras, Icehouse etc. On one side and a very wide sandy beach on the other. Day 3 : Chennai - Thirupati (155 Kms/1-2 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel and proceed to Tirupathi - The Lord of seven hills. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Tirupathi is a temple town known for the famous ancient temple of Lord Venkateswara Bala Ji. This Shrine is richest shrine in country. Traditionally the pilgrims get their hair shaved. The Image of Bala Ji has the attributes of both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, The temple with its soaring Gopurams and glided Vimna, is fine example of Dravidian architecture. Day 4 : Thirupati - Kanchipuram - Mamallapuram (170 Kms /2-3 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel and at 0900 hrs drive to Mahabalipuram.
Enroute visit Kanchipuram - one of the seven sacred cities of India, is famous for its exquistely woven silk sarees. It is a golden city of thousand temples of which 124 have withstood the ravages of time. Thereafter continue your drive to Mamallapuram. Upon arrival check in at hotel. After fresh n up leave for half day city tour, built in 7th century, earlier called Mahabalipuram, this ancient Pallava port, is today the sight of several antique sculptural marvels. Mahabalipuram - the ancient capital and sea port of Pallava kings is famous for its south Indian temple architecture.But today it is a sleepy village living on its past glory and the tourist traffic. Day 5 : Mamallapuram - Tiruvannanmalai - Pondicherry (135 Kms/1-2 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel and at 0800 hrs drive to Pondicherry carries a strong whiff of the French presence in India. Legend says that Pondicherry is the place where St. Agasthaya settled down. Day 6 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur (170 Kms/2-3 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel at 0900 hrs and drive to Thanjavur.

Day 7 : Thanjavur - Trichy - Madurai (160 Kms/2-3 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Madurai. Enroute visit Trichy or Tiruchirapalli also called as Thillai, which has the famous Nataraja temple with the root of the sanctum-sanctorum covered with golden plates is located in the center of the town covering an area of 40 acres.
Thereafter countinue your drive to Madurai. Upon arrival in Madurai check in at hotel. Afternoon leave for city tour of Madurai history goes back to six centuries before Christ. The Pandyan rulers made this their capital until the 14th Century and the city flowered with the genius of its writers, builders, poets and academics. Then the Nayaks ruled Madurai from the middle of the 16th Century to 1743. Day 8 : Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai (155 Kms/1-2 Hrs One Way)
Morning breakfast at hotel and excursion to Rameshwaram.

The Ramanatha Swamy Temple occupies major area of Rameshwaram. The masterpiece of Dravidian architecture boasts of the largest temple corridor in India. Different rulers built the Ramanatha Swamy Temple over a period of time starting from the 12th century. The temple comprises of twenty-two wells where the taste of the water of each well is different from the other. The waters of the wells are believed to possess medicinal properties. Rameshwaram is where Lord Rama rested and prayed after his triumph over the demon king Ravan. A sacred site for both Vaishnavites and Shaivities, no Hindu pilgrimage is complete without a visit to this holy city. The island of Rameshwaram is one of the most venerable temple towns in India without a visit to which, the pilgrimage of a devout Hindu is not complete. Therafter return back to Madurai. Day 9 : Madurai - Kanyakumari ( 245 Kms/6-7 Hrs)
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Kanyakumari - is the land's end of India where the water of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. An important pilgrim center of India.

Day 10 : Kanyakumari - Kovalam - Trivandrum (110 Kms/1-2 Hrs) - Departure
Morning breakfast at hotel and at 0900 hrs drive to Trivandram.
Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) - the capital of the State of Kerala, is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. The city gets its name from the word, Thirua Ananthapuram, meaning the city of Anantha or the abode of the scared Anantha on which Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu Trinity reclines. The famous Sri padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu and a landmark in the city was, according to legends, built in stages to house an idol found in a forest by a saint devotee, Vilwamangalam Swamiyar.
