Day 1 : Arrival in Madrid - Madrid by Night
On your arrival in Madrid, meet our representative and you will be transferred to your hotel. Unwind for a while and then you can explore your surroundings. Towards evening you will proceed for the night tour of Madrid. You will stop at the iconic Royal Palace of Madrid (Palacio Real) and you will visit one of the oldest squares of the city, the Plaza Mayor. The Plaza Mayor is located in the center of Madrid, a few meters from the square of Puerta del Sol, and close to the High Street. Our ending point is one of the oldest squares of the city, the Plaza Mayor. If you wish, you can stay there to have dinner or get some drinks (by your own) and continue enjoying the night at Madrid.
Day 2 : Toledo Full Day Tour with Lunch
Toledo, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is situated in the heart of ancient Castile atop a rock in a bend of the River Tagus. Toledo is one of Europe’s oldest settlements and is considered a museum city of great artistic beauty. It is also known as the City of Three Cultures where Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together. Visit the stunning cathedral, with its splendid architecture displaying a range of Spanish Gothic styles. The interior also contains numerous art treasures such as stained glass windows, the choir, main chapel, altarpieces, paintings by El Greco and much, much more. Visit all the most iconic landmarks such as the St. Tomé church, home to Conde de Orgaz’s tomb, see El Greco’s masterpiece; the Santa María la Blanca Synagogue; the San Juan de los Reyes Monastery and the Mosque of El Cristo de la Luz. See how in Toledo they traditionally forge steel for their swords. Be amazed at the incredible detail and craftsmanship of the various metals. At midday you can take a well-earned rest and enjoy either a set lunch menu. The tour will end with a beautiful panoramic view of Toledo before you’re driven back to Madrid. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Transfer from Madrid to Seville and Guadalquivir cruise
Today check-out and travel on your own to the Madrid railway station to take the high speed train to Seville. After 2 and half hours, you will reach Seville.You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. In the afternoon you will climb onto a comfortable minibus for a sightseeing tour across the infamous Isabel II Bridge, on the other side of which lies the legendary neighbourhood of Triana. This quaint part of town used to be the old sailors and potters’ quarter, where you can still admire nowadays San Jorge’s Castle, erected in the 10th century. Feel like the sailors of old at the “muelle de la Sal” (Salt Wharf), where an elegant boat will be awaiting your arrival to cruise you alongside all the wonderful buildings and bridges that line the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Las but not least comes a visit to the Monastery of the Cartuja, where for three years Christopher Columbus planned his trip towards the unknown. The trip then ends with a tour of the Bullring of the Real Maestranza, considered to be one of the most important bullrings in the history of bullfighting.
Day 4 : Full Day Tour of Cordoba
Today morning you will start early by exploring the majestic Alcalzar del los Reyes Cristianos, a mediaeval Islamic Fortress, then occupied by the Catholic Kings of Spain. Next stop is the impressive Great Mosque, a spectacular testimony to the age of the Caliphate. Then it's time to head for the Juderia, the mediaeval Jewish Quarter, a vibrant neighbourhood, packed with small shops, hole in the wall bars and great restaurant. We'll stroll down the Callejon de las Flores, a fiesta for the senses as we come onto the Plaza of Gran Maimonedes where we’ll visit the city's ancient synagogue, dating from 1315. Now you'll have some time to explore the city for yourself. You can go shopping, sit back on a pavement café and watch the world go by or maybe try some wonderful Cordobese cooking. The area is packed with tapas bars as well as some great restaurants. Return back to your hotel towards late evening for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Transfer from Seville to Granada Alhambra and Generalife Gardens
Today morning, check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the train station to take the high speed train from Seville to Granada. The journey takes around 3 and half hours. Upon arrival at Granada you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. In the afternoon you will be picked up from your Granada hotel by air-conditioned minibus and then whisk you away to La Sabica Hill to visit its most dramatic monument – Alhambra. Perched high on the hill overlooking the city, the incredible palace complex was first built as a fortress at the start of the 13th century. Skip past the long entrance lines with your priority access ticket and walk around inside with your guide, hearing all the history of this fascinating site. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Alhambra is a treasure trove of Moorish architecture and you’ll see several of its wonders as you tour its highlights. Step inside the Hall of Abencerrajes to gaze up at its star-shaped domed ceiling, and hear the tale of the massacre that took place here during a 15th century banquet. After exploring the palaces, head to the Generalife Gardens to discover where the sultans and Moorish kings of bygone days once relaxed. Featuring abundant flora and distinctive water features, the gardens also comprise two further courtyards, which you’ll see, the Patio de la Acequia and the Patio de la Sultana. You will be dropped back to your hotel after 3 hours.
Day 6 : Transfer from Granada to Barcelona Flamenco Show
Today morning, check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the train station to take the high speed train from Granada to Barcelona. The journey takes around 3 and half hours. Upon arrival at Barcelona you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Experience the fire and passion of Spain’s national dance at Tablao Flamenco Cordobés, one of Barcelona's top flamenco venues, located in heart of the Ramblas. Day 7 : Barcelona Highlights with Sagrada Familia
