The environments of the road are mostly good and your expedition will begin from Shimla. Enroute you will pass through a high elevation which will be demanding in every turn.

Day 1 : ARRIVE IN SHIMLA
Reach Shimla and check into your accommodation where you will be spending your rest of the day at leisure.
Sited at the elevation 2276feet above sea level, the British summer capital “Shimla” derives its name from goddess Shyamala Devi, which is an incarnation of Kali. The town is almost the home to a number of tudorbethan and neo – gothic architectures dating from colonial era as well as multiple temples. For its rugged mountainous terrain, charming snowfall and pleasant weather, this place has been a blast to eminence among nature lovers and escapade enthusiast.
In the evening you are free to explore the Shimla town including Mall Road, Scandal Point, wooded Lakkar Bazar and the Bandstand.
If a time left in the evening then you can explore the Jakhu temple on Motor cycles. Enjoy the sunset from lovers point and get bested by the chilly winds of the mountains.
Jakhoo hill is Shimla's highest peak, which offers a panoramic view of the
Shivalik Ranges and the town of Sanjauli. It is 2.5 km from the Ridge, Shimla at the height of 2,455 m (8,000 feet) above sea level. At the top of the Hill, is an old temple of Lord Hanuman, which is also the home of countless playful monkeys waiting to be fed by all visitors. At 108 feet (33 meter) statue of Lord Hanuman,a Hindu deity, at 8,500 feet (2,591 meters) above sea level, is single statue to stand at the highest altitude among several other master pieces in the world, overtaking the Christ Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Day 2 : SHIMLA-NARKANDA-SARHAN (172 Km)
Heed towards the cheeping of nature and get bested by the chilly mountains. Have your breakfast and begin your ride towards the former summer capital of the Bushahr realm. On the way, visit Narkanda, a tiny hamlet, 8884 feet high, has splendid towering trees and is famous for ski slopes, apple orchards and Hatu peak. Then in afternoon move further to extremely renowned for the Bhima Kali temples, Sarahan is erected in the old-style Kinnauri way mainly from the coatings of stone and timber to engross the force of earthquakes. There are two towers here, one newly reconstructed after the 12th-century original collapsed, and one from the 1920s (on the left) containing a highly admired shrine to Bhimakali (the local version of Kali) underneath a lovely silver-filigree awning on its top floor. The curved, peaked roofs suggest the Tibetan influence on Kinnauri architecture, which becomes more marked as you move up the valley.
To the right of the two towers is the squat Lankra Vir Temple, where human sacrifices were carried out right up to the 18th century.
After visit to the surrounded areas, you will be back to the Hotels for an overnight stay followed by the delicious dines.
Day 3 : SARAHAN– CHITKUL (107 KMS)
Following with the chirping of the birds geared up to the next destination to a gorgeous hill town -Sangla in Baspa valley. Known as the doorway to Kinnaur district, Sangla is a town where Baspa River flows throughout the region. The trail will take you through wooded slants, apple, walnut and apricot orchards. You will also sight the thrilling vistas of the eye-catching Kinnaur Kailash Mountain. While moving further you will reach Chitkul a last town of the Baspa valley. Stay here at tents and explore the magnificent vistas of the glacier brook graceful away encircled by the snow-capped picture of Kinnaur Kailash.
Day 4 : CHITKUL – KALPA (75 KMS)
On driving to the glorious dawn next morning, continue your hike towards Kalpa, a major commercial center of Kinnaur district. At this point you will sight sudden change in the mountain terrain from wooded slopes to the craggy arid and rocky hilly regions. The entire range of the Kinnaur Kailash can be viewed from this place. Transfer to your accommodation .Have luscious feast and serene sleep.
Day 5 : KALPA – KAZA (200 KMS)
Get up early with the dawn and geared up towards your ride to Kaza. The expedition will take you from the foliage to rock-strewn hills and further to a cold deserts. The route will be long and exhausting but will be enjoyable as you will pass stunning y Nakko Lake and Tabbo monastery, one of the oldest and beautiful monasteries in the world. Campsite will be here for an overnight stay.
Day 6 : AT KAZA
Next day wake up on chilly desert and have your crowcock meal to explore the area. Today you will visit the renowned Kee Monastery and also Kibber village, one of the utmost settled hamlets in the world. Have an experience of the lifestyle and customs of the locals. Later in the afternoon, you will be visiting another utmost occupied village called Komic town. In the evening, check your bikes further for our next destination which will take place in next morning.
Day 7 : KAZA – CHANDRATAAL (80 KMS)
This phase of the trail will take you to the cake made of ice known as Kunzum pass – solitary place on the blue planet to view the Chandratal, the lake of moon. At the moon light you will see the lake astonishes with the different colors. Spend some time in the laps of the lake and incarcerate its eerie exquisiteness in your cameras and your hearts. Stay overnight in your campsite accommodation.
Day 8 : CHANDRATAAL – MANALI
The breathtaking adventure comes to an end. Here you will return back to the Manali via Rohtang pass after having your morning meal. In the evening you will be exploring Baspa valley your own and later in evening return back to the hotels for an overnight stay.
Day 9 : MANALI -CHANDIGARH
This morning after meal, you will be geared up to ride back to the Chandigarh for your onward destination. En-route use your riding skills to make memory more mesmerize.

FAQs:
1. Will there be support for mechanical failure etc. (seen on a few web sites where a mini pickup 4x4 with spares and mechanic follows throughout the journey). Would there be similar kind of arrangement?
Yes, support will be there for mechanical breakdowns. Backup vehicle is provided along with one mechanic who will be having expertise in any type of breakdowns, if any.
2. Would we have anyone in the group with previous Spiti biking experience?
Yes. There will be a ride captain maintaining the decorum throughout the ride. Our full team of riders accompanying the group is having Spiti experience beforehand. Apart from Spiti experience, they also have a vast experience in riding all over India, on-road as well as off-road.
3. What if I make the payment and the ride is cancelled?
The ride will not be cancelled in any circumstances unless and until some natural calamities block our way.
4. Any further info that you can provide now on the kind of accommodation that we can expect?
As far as accommodation is concerned, we will be staying in hotels/camps located at various pre-defined stopovers at the end of the day. Sometimes, it will be camps and at some places, it will be hotels/guest houses. Final accommodation schedules along with the pre-defined stopover will be communicated with the confirmed riders.
5. Any discount can be given if we are a group of 4-5 riders?
Yes. It can be taken into consideration.
6. I have a heart problem/asthma problem. Am I allowed to join the ride?
Yes you can join but you must intimate us beforehand about any of the major illness of yours. We need to be extra cautious in those cases.
