Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Chandigarh and drive to Shimla 2,250 metres / 7,382 feet (120 kms ).

  On your arrival at Chandigarh railway station / airport you will be met by our driver and he will drive you to Shimla – The summer capital of British India. On Arrival Check – in at the Hotel & rest. Later start for local sightseeing visit the Christ Church, the Gaiety Theatre, scandal point . Overnight stay in Hotel in Shimla.
• Day 2 : Shimla – Narkanda – Sarahan 2,150 metres / 7,055 feet, ( 170 kms )

  After breakfast at hotel drive to beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda and Rampur. En route we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wodden carved temple of Godess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur and enroute we will stop for lunch break (on your own) and various picture breaks and comfort breaks. Sarahan – the tiny village offers the splendid views of Shrikhanda Mahadev Peak (5,155 metres). The major attraction in Sarahan is centuries-old Hindu temple of Godess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarahan is also the gateway to Kinnaur valley.. Overnight stay in Hotel in Sarahan.

• Day 3 : Sarahan – Sangla – Chitkul – Sangla 2,680 metres / 8,792 feet, (110 km )

  After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the famous temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan. This is the same temple in which human sacrifices were made about two centuries ago. After visiting the temple we will continue driving to Sangla where you will check in at your hotel or could also choose to stay in fixed luxury tented accommodation. Later visit Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. After lunch, leave for an excursion to Chitkul the last Village on old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through the green orchards, by a brilliant stream. As the day falls, return to your hotel in Sangla for overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Sangla to Kalpa 2,758 metres / 9,048 feet (40 km).

  After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Kalpa village Enroute we will stop at Recongpeo and will have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. We will have lunch in a local restaurant (on your own) where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetian food. After lunch we will drive to kalpa ( 7 kms), you will check in to your hotel. After some rest you may wish to take a walk to Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village. These villages are covered with thick pine forests and are famous for apricots and apples. The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 metres) can be had from here. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. Overnight stay in Hotel in Kalpa.
• Day 5 : Kalpa – Nako – Tabo (163 km)

  After breakfast we will drive you to Nako . Later we will take you for a walk in the village and visit the buddhist monastery related to guru Padmasambhava (a great buddhist scholar, whose teachings spread to Tibet from India), we will also visit Nako Lake, the residence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama ji. Later Drive to Tabo visit Tabo Monastery which is more than 1000 years old and is considered one of the Holiest Bhuddhist sites in the world . Overnight stay in Hotel in Tabo.
• Day 6 : Tabo – Dhankar – Kaza (50 km)

  Next morning, we ‘ll drive to Dhankar and visit Gompa which is situated high above the Valley. it used to be a fort and residence of king of spiti. the view from this point are mind blowing. we will also visit lalung Gompa. later drive to Kaza by Night and spend the Night in Hotel Kaza

• Day 7 : Kaza – Kibber – Hikkim – kaumic – Kaza

  After breakfast drive towards Kibber Village the biggest in this region of Lahaul – Spiti. Later we will drive towards Hikkim and koumic, Koumic has the deposits of old fossils as its primary attraction in the langthis Natura Fossil center. from there, we go to the Koumik Monastery, the highest in the world and another monastery destroyed in 1975 by the earthquake, near Hikkim . Later back to Kaza and overnight stay in the Hotel.
• Day 8 : Kaza – Chandratal – Manali (202 km)

  After breakfast drive towards Chandratal. Visit Chandratel lake later proceed to Manali. on the way we en- route various places such as Batal, Chotta Darrah, Gramphu and the famous Rohtang pass. famous as being the highest motor vehicle passes in India, reach Manali by evening, we will spend our time resting. Overnight stay in Hotel in Manali.

  • Hotspots Rohtang Pass
• Day 9 : Manali (Local Sightseeing) – Chandigarh Airport Drop (300 km)

  After breakfast, Half day sight seeing of Manali – Hidimba Temple, Vasisht Kund, drive to Chandigarh Airport / Railway station. tour ends with fond memories.
