Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Shimla (360 kms/ 10 hrs.)

  Delhi to Shimla (360 kms/ 10 hrs.)
  Bus departs from Delhi at 8:00 pm
  Overnight journey to Shimla by Volvo Bus
• Day 2 : Shimla - Saharan (165 kms / 6 hrs.)

  Reach Shimla in morning around 6:00 am
  Freshen up at hotel/guest house
  Breakfast and relax - then around 11, we start the drive to Sarahan
  On the way, experience the beauty of Kufri, Narkanda
  After lunch at Narkanda, we shall visit Hatu Temple and Tanni Jubar Lake
  Enroute also visit Rampur and view Padam Palace
  On arrival, check in at hotel
  In evening, visit the famous Bhimakali Temple at Sarahan
  Overnight stay at Sarahan hotel

• Day 3 : Sarahan - Sangla ( 95 Kms/ 3 Hrs. )

  After breakfast, we drive towards Sangla Valley - one of the most beautiful valley in India
  On the way we visit Taranda Dhank (Rock Cut), one of the world’s most dangerous roads
  Sangla is a riverside valley overlooking stunning Himalayan views
  At Sangla, visit Kamru Village, Kamru Fort, Baspa River, Bering Nag Temple, Buddhist Monastery, Sangla Kanda etc.

• Day 4 : Sangla - Chitkul - Kalpa (50 km/2 hrs.)

  In early morning, walk to Basteri Village and visit apple, apricot orchards & visit the ancient Badri Narayan Temple.
  Have breakfast and leave for Kalpa via a visit to Chitkul - the last village on Indo- Tibet border.
  Then drive to Kalpa, enjoy the scenic view of Kinner Kailash peaks over a cup of tea
  On arrival, check in at hotel
  In evening, we shall visit the Old Shiva Temple and Buddhist Monastery in Kalpa
  Overnight stay at the hotel in Kalpa

• Day 5 : Kalpa - Nako - Tabo - Kaza ( 210 km/7 hrs. )

  Get up at early morning and enjoy the beautiful view of Kalpa.
  After breakfast, leave for Kaza. On the way we visit Ribba Valley (16 km) and Moorang, famous for its apricot orchards
  Visit Puh, largest village of Kinnaur and Namgia Village facing towards China border
  Reach Nako, visit Nako Lake. Say good bye to Kinnaur and enter into Spiti through Sumdo Village & Tabo
  On the way to Kaza, we also visit Dhankar Monastery if time allows
  Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaza

• Day 6 : Kaza - Local Kaza sightseeing

  After breakfast, we visit the world famous Ke Monastery.
  Spending some time there, we head to Khibber Village- the highest village of Spiti Valley at an altitude of 4270 M
  After lunch, we also visit Komic - Highest village of the world at 4600 M
  In evening, we return back to hotel
  Overnight stay in hotel in Kaza

• Day 7 : Kaza - Kunzum Pass- Chandratal Lake (Trekking 5-6 hr.)

  After breakfast, we head towards Chandratal Lake via Kunzum La Pass
  From Batal, we start trek of 16 km for Chandratal Lake and it will take us about 5-6 hrs.
  While trekking, we see the amazing view of Lahaul range, peaks like Minar (6172 M), Talagiri (6279 M), Tara Pahar(6227 M) and Mulkila (6517 M)
  In evening, we have a bonfire session with music
  After dinner, we spend night at camp close to the lake

• Day 8 : Chandra Tal - Batal - Rohtang Pass - Manali - Delhi (125 km/ 4 hrs.)

  After morning breakfast, we start driving to Manali.
  We shall take a small break at Batal and say goodbye to Spiti Valley
  After a few hours of driving and enjoying the scenic view of snow covered peaks at Rohtang Pass, we reach Manali in evening.
  Then freshen up at Manali for 2-3 hrs. and depart back to Delhi by bus
