Package Overview

This proposal includes the Phnom Penh which is the capital of Cambodia where we can be outing by cyclo (traditional bicyle with a driver) and the Siem Reap which is the Spirit of Asia where we can discover all the secrets of Asia by walking and cycling.

The accommodation at the monastery is very simple. We have to sleep in the big hall where men & women have to sleep separately. The bathroom and the toilet are common and very basic standard.
We will provide the mosquito-nets, the mattress, the blankets and the pillows.
The foods provide during the tripl will be traditional village cooked.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Phnom Penh

  Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. Leisure on your own. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

• Day 2 : Phnom Penh ( Cyclo Tour)

  Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit around Phnom Penh by cyclo: the National Museum, the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the Russian market, the Wat Phnom Temple, etc. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

• Day 3 : Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

  Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Arrival and transfer to Siem Reap. Leisure on your own. Overnight in Siem Reap.

• Day 4 : Siem Reap (Walking Tour)

  Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the entrance of the Victoria Angkor Thom. Visit the temple and walk up to the “Door of the Dead”, the Terrace of Elephants and Baphoun. In the afternoon walk across the West door to arrive to the local village. We may visit around and continue walking to the “Temple of the Corner” where we can observe the sunset (depends on the weather). Continue walking to the South Gate to take car and return to Siem Reap and overnight.

• Day 5 : Siem Reap - Phnom Kulen - Anlong Thom (Walking Tour)

  Very early in the morning after the breakfast, transfer to the Beng Mealea temple that is totally covered by vegetation. Transfer by road up the mountain of Phnom Kulen. Travel through the way (350 meters unevenness) and arrival at Phum Thmei where the vehicle might stop. We may visit around the town and continue on foot or by bike (depending on road conditions) to Sra Damrei, huge monolith stone dating from 10th century and which represents two elephants and two lions. Picnic lunch at the foot of the monumental sculptures, which are completely hidden by dense vegetation. In the afternoon, we will walk through the jungle for 10 kilometres to the town of Anlong Thom. Stop en route to visit several temples. Arrive in the late afternoon to a pagoda where we will have dinner and spend the night.

• Day 6 : Anlong Thom - Kbal Spean - Banteay Srei - Siem Reap (Walking Tour)

  After the breakfast, we may start walking to the vehicle to go to the waterfalls where we can, swim. Picnic lunch will be served. We must wait until 12 noon time when the forest guards allow visitors to descend. We will have to walk in a very narrow single-track road. Continue until Kbal Spean (River of the thousand Lingas) and we may go up on foot (30 meters) to visit the relieves carved in the riverbed. We come down on foot to our vehicle to continue the trip by road to the temple of Banteay Srei. Return to Siem Reap by vehicle. Overnight in Siem Reap.

• Day 7 : Siem Reap (Bicycle Tour)

  Morning, breakfast at the hotel. We will take the bicycle to the Preah Khan Temple and visit around the temple. Continue cycling through the ancient roads until the Ta Nei Temple. Visit and continue until the Ta Keo Temple and the Ta Phrom Temple, completely covered with vegetation. Visit and back to Siem Reap. En route, we may visit the Pre Rup Temple and the Banteay Kdei Temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

• Day 8 : Siem Reap (Walking Tour)

  Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Angkor Wat Temple by car where we will spend the whole morning visiting the temples. In the afternoon, visit Banteay Samre and walk on the East Baray until Sras Srang’s pond to observe the sunset (if the weather permits). Back to Siem Reap and overnight.

• Day 9 : Departure

  Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the international departure.
