Arrive at the airport and transfer to Kandy, enroute visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage, city tour of Kandy including the Temple of Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical garden. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage – set amongst the verdant hills of Kegalle is a unique orphanage, where the tiny tots weigh 60 kg or more. This is the Pinnewela Elephant Orphanage, the world's first and only elephant orphanage established to feed, nurse and house young elephants lost or abandoned by their mothers. Other occupants are elephants displaced from their natural environs by development projects or those found wounded. Visitors could see the baby elephants being fed milk from gigantic feeding bottles or bathed in the river which flows nearby – an unforgettable sight! Established in 1975, by the Wildlife Department and National Zoological gardens which subsequently led to a breeding program through which more than 25 elephants have been born since 1984.
Kandy, a lovely exotic city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which retains an aura of grandeur, time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its centre, it is the site of the renowned temple that enshrines the Tooth Relic of the Buddha and the Royal Botanical gardens – home to one of the world’s best collections of Orchids.A cultural sanctuary where many legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive, Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry (items of wood, brass & silver) exquisite silver or gold jewellery and precious gems of many varieties including the world’s best blue and star sapphires. Morning after breakfast and some leisure, head to explore the Ella City. Visit the famous Ravana Ella Falls, Ella Spice Garden and Tea Planation, Little Adam's Peak. Overnight stay in Ella.Little Adam's Peak - Go for a quick hike to the top of Little Adam's Peak, an easy walk from downtown Ella in a lush picturesque setting. The mountain’s name comes from the comparison with its similarly shaped but much larger counterpart, the massive Adam’s Peak in central Sri Lanka. Enjoy the the easy going, 45-minute trek to the summit, admiring views of verdant tea plantations along the way. When you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the rolling green hills and valleys below.Ella Spice Garden - Take a cooking class or simply savor Sri Lanka's authentic cuisine at Ella Spice Garden, a private household set in a highland village amid world-famous tea plantations. With a hands-on approach, an informative English-speaking teacher will take you on a tour of all the Sri Lankan spices cultivated in this private garden. Roam through peppers, cloves, turmeric, and chili plants, take a sample, and then roll up your sleeves to hit the kitchen. Classes, followed by a meal, are suitable for all levels of hobby chefs. Alternatively, you can just stop by for a tasty meal, mostly featuring curry-style traditional dishes. Make sure you call in advance.Ravana Ella Falls - See an impressive natural feature at Ravana Ella Falls, measuring 25 m (82 ft) in height. Plummeting down an uneven rocky outcrop, the cataract resembles the withering petals of an areca flower and represents the setting of several local myths and legends. With several plunge pools and multiple cascades, the area offers a popular walking route, where each of the natural tiers gives extensive views of the surrounding nature reserve, and the individual pools invite you to cool off.
After breakfast proceed to Colombo – Enroute we will take you for a thrilling Rafting Session - Experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River in Kitugala. The Kelani River is popular for 1957 blockbuster movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” in which the bridge was blown when the train was crossing the river was filmed in Kithulgala. This place is worthwhile for visiting and photographing as you pass the rapids of Kalani River.Rest of the day at leisure in Colombo – Once you reach you can head to Famous “Odel” Mall where you will be able to buy authentic Sri Lankan Souveniers for your family and friends. A less known but amazingly true fact is that Colombo has a superb range of high quality restaurants serving food from all over the world and some of the best shopping opportunities in Asia. The main seaport of Sri Lanka is in Colombo & adjoining it, is Pettah, a local bazaar & trading area. Other places of interest are the beautiful Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, mosques, the historic Wolfendhal church, (1749) residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Ceramic Corporation famous for its well-known brand “Noritake” and ODEL the renowned shopping centre.
Morning after breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to airport for departure to Maldives.Welcome To Maldives! Arrive at GAN International airport from where you'll be transferred to Canareef Resort through Speedboat. Check-in at your Sunrise Villa and enjoy the day at the resort. Maldives is home to several species of dolphins, including Spinners, Bottle-Nosed dolphins and pilot whales, they can be seen gracing the waters near the island. One of the key highlights is you can go in search of these wild yet extremely friendly dolphins around the Island while watching the sunset. We'll be providing you a pair of snorkeling kit from our side kit through which you can explore the colorful aqua marine landscapes and enjoy the marine life surrounding the lagoon, catch eels, black tip reef sharks and different species of fishes swimming along the lagoons coast. Explore the islands of Addu City, starting with the islands of Maradhoo, which have modernized boat yards where local craftsmanship can be appreciated. The Island of Feydhoo is inhabited by the people living in the airport island of Gan. Maradhoo- Feydhoo is the smallest community in Addu, walk around the island to feel the laid-back lifestyle and then visit Gan the former RAF base before returning to the resort. Enjoy tour of Hithadhoo, the capital of Addu City. The island hosts one of the largest natural lakes in the country which is frequently by habitats as well as migrating birds.
