Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangkok – Colombo (Sri Lanka) (No meals)

  You will be picked up at the Bandaranaike International Colombo Airport and warmly greeted by your personal chauffeur guide and transferred to hotel. Check in and rest of the day on your own time afterwards.
  Overnight in Colombo
• Day 2 : Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya

  You will be picked up at the Bandaranaike International Colombo Airport and warmly greeted by your personal chauffeur guide and transferred to Sigiriya (Approx. 4 hours drive). Visit The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa (UNESCO world heritage site) with approx. 2 hours drive Afternoon: Climb the famous Sigiriya rock fortress and visit rocky abode and water gardens, an UNESCO world heritage and one of the Wonders of the World).
  Overnight in Sigiriya

• Day 3 : Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy

  Morning: Visit the Cave temple of Dambulla (UNESCO world heritage site), a batik factory and a spice garden where you can see the best spices in Sri Lanka. Afternoon: You will do the city tour of Kandy including a visit to the temple of the sacred tooth relic, upper lake drive, market square, gem lapidary.
  Overnight in Kandy.

• Day 4 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

  Morning: Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, one of the best botanical gardens in Asia Afternoon: You will proceed to Peradeniya Railway Station for a scenic train journey to Nanuoya Railway Station on Expo rail. This train journey is the most scenic train journey in Sri Lanka. Train leaves Peradeniya at 12:31hrs and reaches Nanuoya at 15:55hrs. Lunch will be provided on board. Your driver/guide will be waiting at the Railway Station.
  Overnight in Nuwara Eliya

• Day 5 : Nuwara Eliya – Colombo

  Drive to Colombo. En route visit a tea plantation and tea factory where the best tea in the world is produced. Also visit Devon & St. Claire’s waterfalls. Arrive Colombo in the evening.

• Day 6 : Full day visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage Tour

  You will be picked up at your hotel at 05.30am and then head to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is situated 13 km northwest of the town of Kegalle, in the village of Pinnawala, halfway between the present capital of Colombo and the ancient royal city of Kandy. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka wildlife department in a 25 acre coconut property adjoining the Maha Oya River. Pinnawala is one of the largest Elephant Orphanages that rescue the elephants that were lost to their herds by human-elephant conflict and by falling into pits. Early in the morning you will witness the bottle feeding of the baby elephants. Afterwards you can see the memorable sight of the elephants bathing in the Ma Oya River. You also have the rare opportunity to enjoy a ride atop one of these giants if you are so inclined as well! Enjoy your lunch at 12:00 pm at your own expense. The visit ends around 18:00 pm and will possibly be dropped off at your hotel in Colombo by 8pm depending on traffic conditions and weather.
