Sri Lanka is an island country in the Indian Ocean off the southern tip of India. Ramayana is the most famous epic about Lanka. Sri Lanka is a land of ancient ruins and religious relics, palm-fringed beaches and colourful reefs, balmy rainforests and local legends.
The capital city, Colombo apart from its suave urban glimmer also houses some prominent forts and buildings of colonial era, here you can discover rich and enormous cultural heritage, experience in water base, air base, earth base and many kinds of activities.
Day 1 : Arrive Colombo – Pinnawela – Kandy
After the usual meet & assist on arrival and proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala. Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and later proceed to Kandy. One can return to the hotel for leisure activities and for an overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 2 : Kandy
After Breakfast at the Hotel we’ll later proceed for the Kandy City tour, the we will visit the Temple of the Tooth Kandy, Royal Botanical Garden & Kandy Lake and stay overnight at the hotel in Kandy.
Day 3 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
The following day after breakfast at the hotel,we will check out and proceed to Nuwara eliya. Enroute, a Visit to the Bhakta Hanuman Temple, Tea Factory, Tea Plantation & Ramboda Waterfalls will be conducted. Later, we will stay at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya – Bentota
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and proceed to Bentota. Enroute, one will visit the Devon falls & St Clair’s waterfalls after which one will stay overnight at the hotel in Bentota.
Day 5 : Bentota
Post breakfast at the Hotel we’ll set out to explore the locales of Bentota. A Visit to the beach and an optional visit to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery & Maadu River for boating and water sports will be conducted. We will return back to the hotel in Bentota.
Day 6 : Bentota – Colombo – Departure Transfers
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and proceed to Colombo and take a half day city tour covering a visit to Fort, Sea Street, the Bazaar area, the Kayman’s Gate with the Belfry at the original gate to enter the Fort, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhaal dating back to 1749, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple dating back to 6th C.B.C., Davatagaha Mosque, Colombo Museum and the Natural History Museum. Also visit the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall),where we will see the replica of Avukana Buddha in front and the Independence Memorial. Later, we will depart to the airport with a conclusion to the trip with happy memories.
