Sri Lanka
Theres more to Sri Lanka than Buddhist temples and palm-fringed golden beaches. Dotted with UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the island has verdant jungle, an average of eight hours sunshine a day and superb tea, ideally sipped in a colonial-style guest house overlooking a hillside plantation. In the west, five-star resorts have sprung up alongside chic shacks on beaches where stilt fishermenmake their daily catch and surfers catch a wave. On the south coast sleepy Galle Fort’s chic boutiques and annual literary festival are a blueprint for the future.
Bentota
Across the river from Aluthgama, you can find refuge in Bentota a gentle leafy sprawl of hotels and guest houses spread along the coast. The sea is calm here, as are the waters of the river, the bentota Ganga, which is ideal for water sports and boat rides as far as 35km (23 miles) upstream. When the British discovered Bentota and built a rest house for their officers en route from Colombo to Galle, it was a peaceful place to escape to. That tranquility however was somewhat shattered after a modern complex, the National Holiday Resort, was built. It comprises a shopping center, post office several hotels and a marketplace where you can practice your bargaining skills to buy drums, masks .
Kandy
Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka Kandy is located at the center of Sri Lanka and is generally recognized as the island nation's cultural capital. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is the last kingdom of the country. Since it was conquered by the British only around 1815 you can still see the living traditions. Kandyans are usually proud of their heritage. Since the western elements has played a comparatively little role in the city most Kandyans are upholding Buddhist values. Since it is in the cultural triangle the authorities try to retain this values as much as possible. Situation had changed recently because of many immigrants coming from other parts of the country. So don't expect to find the honest Kandyans they describe in the colonial literature now. Be careful with your belongings and the people whom you associate with. But this is a peaceful city compared to most other parts of the country with a lesser crime rate.
Colombo
Colombo is the largest city and the commercial, industrial and cultural capital of Sri Lanka. It is located on the west coast of the island and adjacent to Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte suburb or the parliament capital of Sri Lanka. Colombo is the largest city in Sri Lanka. As the capital, it is the main financial, industrial and trading hub. With a population of about 647,100 of different ethnic groups, it boasts a mix of both the old and the new by way of old colonial buildings as well as high rise buildings and sky scrapers. The central area of Colombo is still known as the Fort, but the remnants of the colonial battlements have long since been demolished, or incorporated in newer buildings.Located in the Indian Ocean, Colombo is situated 6 degree 55 minutes N latitude and 79 degree 52 minutes E longitude on the west coast of the island of Sri Lanka.
Kandy Temple

Nuwara Eliya
Visit the main attractions of the town which include the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating or fishing on Lake Gregory. Continue to visit a working tea factory where the slow growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe Tea. One can also add Seetha Eliya and Haggala Gardens. Seetha Eliya is a temple which was mentioned in the famous epic Ramayana. Haggala is a temperate hill-country garden where languid low-country lotus and water lily float in their serene loveliness.
Mirissa
Mirissa and its breathtaking sandy beach pretty much transforms your dreams and visions of a tropical paradise into an everyday reality. Located close to the Southern tip of the Island of Sri Lanka and only about 200 km from the Equator, this secluded crescent shaped beach is the perfect place to sit back, relax and forget about all the hussle and bussle of your other life that’s a million miles away.
This small sandy tropical beach boasts some of Sri Lanka’s best and most stunning sunsets and sunrises.

Day 1 : Airport - Bentota
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Bentota.
Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2 : Bentota - Galle - Bentota
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Madhu Ganga boat ride.
Later proceed for day trip to Galle.
The Port of Galle - Sri Lanka’s 04th biggest town is 115 km south of Colombo and close to Hikkaduwa. Galle is a town rich in history and in fact, was the center of Dutch rule in the 17th century. The majestic Galle Fort bears ample testimony to that fact. The City of Galle is one of the best-preserved colonial-era cities in Southeast Asia, and has been declared a World Heritage City. Galle was a major port in Sri Lanka and still handles shipping and cruising yachts.
The Dutch Museum, Groote Kerk (Great Church) and the National Maritime Museum are some of the famous tourist attractions in Galle. The city is also famous for its delicate handmade lace and ebony carvings. The Galle International Cricket Stadium has also contributed to enhance the image of the city as a sports destination since of late.
Transfer back to Bentota. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3 : Bentota - Kandy
After breakfast depart from Bentota to Kandy.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The historic city about 480m above sea level surrounded by mountains was known to Sri Lankan as kanda uda rata, which means the hill country. Kandy was home to Sri Lanka’s last independent kingdom, which survived two centuries of colonial incursion before finally falling to the British at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Visit the temple of the tooth, the Peradeniya university campus and catch a panoramic view of the picturesque town from upper lake drive.
Early evening, you will visit a Kandyan dance performance and be treated to a spectacular fire walking finale.
Kandy is also famous for its shopping, gems and jewellery, handicrafts, batiks, silks and lot more. And you will have the opportunity of browsing to your heart’s content.

Day 4 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Kandy
After breakfast at hotel and transfer from Kandy to tea plantation. One the way visit The Royal Botanical Gardens.
Visit A Tea Plantation And A Tea Factory, Where The Best Tea In The World Is Produced. Here You Could Observe All About The Process Of Manufacturing Tea. You Can Also See How Tea Is Graded. Taste A Cup Of Pure Ceylon Tea In The Factory.
Transfer from Tea Plantation to Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya meaning "the city of dawn" is the town at the highest elevation (about 2000m above sea level) in Sri Lanka and its tallest peak, piduruthalagala (2555m) could be seen from here. The city, established by the British in the nineteenth century, and known as "Little England" and is a popular holiday resort for Sri Lankans & tourists due to its cool climate and quaint colonial feel with its little bungalows surrounded by hedgerows. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of the tea country and you can visit a plantation and a factory en route here and witness how the famous "Ceylon Tea" is brewed.
Transfer back to Kandy. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5 : Kandy - Colombo
After breakfast at Hotel transfer from Kandy to Colombo. Enroute visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphnage.
The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka's most popular tourist attractions. The orphanage's population has now mushroomed to around 65, making it the world’s largest collection of captive elephants. The elephants here range in age from newborns to elderly matriarchs, and include orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild.
On arrival in Colombo proceed for the local sightseeing. including the historic and bustling Fort and Pettah, the elite residential Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle face Green, Viharamahadevi Park and much more.
Day 6 : Colombo - Departure
Transfer from Colombo to Airport for departure.
